Some places will custom bend radiator hoses anyway you like. the air would be colder since it's not being passed over the engine, and everyone knows cold air is more rich in oxygen.. am I on to something here? When installed an exhaust pipe, i had to relocate the filter because the pipe got in the way of the filter. I purchased a 90 degree angle plastic sink pipe and attached my filter to that and used small radiator pieces to hold the pipe and filter together. The 90 degree forced the filter to relocate to the side of the bike, right behind my right foot peg.
Then i purchase a jetpro pipe and was able to put the filter back to where it orignally belonged.
but yeah, the engine is so small, i don't know how much OUTSTANDING gains you would get from relocating the filter...
Good luck...
