I thought these were inaccurate from anything over 10,000 rpm's? IM looking for a tach aswell. I was thinking of going with the GPT but I cant seem to find any info on them.

dont get a tiny tach unless your bike is going to stay stock because anything over 10,000rpms is inaccurate.

ill be selling mine soon as i get a gpt tach.

I build cars, with that being said AutoMeter makes a tach that's 2 1/16 . It's from their Ultra Lite line, most of the 2 1/16 gauges run about $45-$50 with sending units. I don't have a pocket bike yet so I don't know if this is to big or what not.

these arent cars, you can't tap into a wire you have to wrap it around the plug wire or one has an aligator clip i think.

Why couldn't you buy the tiny tach 1c model and multiply the rpm's 2x in your head? It would still be a good tuning tool.

the thing i don't like is that it only reads every two and a half seconds. i like accurate up to he second readings. and it doesnt have a max rpm memory.

Get a GPT tach. Its worth it. I have one and its the only tool I believe that will tell the true RPMs and speed of any pocketbike.
