b1 rep chain

While putting in a new plug to check the old one on my Hydra A/c I noticed that the front chain connected to the clutch / center Sprocket has more play then I think it should and kinda "slaps" on the chain guard. It sounds like a chain saw and I THINK its gotten louder.
The rear chain is fine and I have tightened it just a tad. Does anyone know who has a B1 rep, If you can tighten this first chain ?

thanks.

I've only seen pics of this bike but I would assume the only way to tighten the first chain is to move the motor? Is there elongated slots on the motor mount? If not, there may be an eccentric(off center) adjuster(or the bushing the bolt goes through) where the first sprocket mounts.....You would have to loosen the bolt and turn the sprocket mount. If there's no way to adjust it then you'll have to wait until it gets loose enough to remove a link.

it might be your chain rubbing on your chain rollers

Stickboy did you have a problem with the bolts stripping on your bike? All four of mine are stripped, straight out of the box. They wont get tight.

Im talking about the bolts on the handle bar clamp. I forgot to mention that. I dont know I havent rode it yet. I ran a tap through each hole then put some hardened bolts back in. Im good to go now, its ready for break in.

Thats strange because I didnt get a spare set and the guy that delivered it just told me there was supposed to be a spare set. Well I have some longer bolts that I stacked with washers and they cinched right up so Im going to go ahead and break the bike in.

to adjust the front chain you have to reposition the motor, the easiest way is to tilt it down slightly as the bottom motor brace swivels.

Have you checked if your pinion is loose or backing out? Could it be your clutch drum is out of round? WC C1's are known to have crappy clutch drums. Don't know about the AC's though?

Mine was bolted in. I enlarged the hole in the top mount so I can tilt the motor forward. I am actually going to make a new top mount to tilt the motor almost flat as I have created a monster intake that almost touches the back wheel with no air filter and this way the motor will come forward. BTW I have an IP2 pipe on mine but it took some serious cutting and rewelding to get it to fit this chassis and it is not a pretty installation but works awesome.

none will fit because of the angle but a little creativity will get the IP2 on there but make sure you have a welder around and some torches for bending
