This is our new headkit for the 40mm piston. Features a prechopped jug with ported exhaust and one big boost port angled towards exhaust. Kit Includes
-Lightened windowed piston
-Rings
-Spark plug
-copper gasket
-Head gasket
-Exhaust gasket
-Studs with threadlock
-Removeable dome
-Precut head with port work
we tested adding more boost ports but didnt like the results so we decided to stay with this setup. Our billet head which should be ready this week features a diff combustion chamber and squish band for those who want a little more performance. You can also buy our stainless steel bolt kit for this or any of our head packages, as well as our head spacer to correct port timing (additional cutting may be required on head)
can this work on my stock engine? if so i'll be sure to grab one in the near future!

Chris, The top of that boost port is flat, how does that aim toward the exhaust? Even if it did aim at the exhaust why would you want it to. The way a 2 stoke iengine works is it uses incomming air/fuel to fill the chamber via the transfer ports and this action helps push out the exhaust. If your boost port points at the exhaust it is wasting the air fuel charge. One boost port on a 40mm is not enough!! Multiple ports done correctly will enhance air flow. With one boost port that is onlt 1.5mm-2mm deep will do very little to help air flow. By the way did you ever get those tach numbers from this race engine you always talk about?

onlhy the botton 4 fins count when checking for your bore. if the bottom 4 go allthe way around without breaking then you have a 40mm bore=40cc if thes break at the corners then you have a 44mm bore=48cc

I don't think that is a big bore as there are fins all the way down.
I have a big bore and a 40mm sitting here on my desk as I write and it looks like a 40mm.
Ooops, I think your right, I took a quick glance, and the light is shiny on the fins on top, and then bottom was dark so I thought it wasnt a normal 40cc head..sorry...
