BBK and reed coming help

okay i ordered the BBK and composite reed set from DDM i got the 44mm kit with the 10mm pistion pin and that will fit my stock crank set up right? and will the composite reed be able to open all the way? or will that slow me down, thats one of the reasons why i didnt order a black widow reed cause i dont have that many modifications on it..

Re: BBK and reed coming help

they will, however snap shut faster for more crankcase comp. but it may make the bike harder to start due to stiffer reeds, which is why my bike is so hard to start and combined with the fact i have a ADA 44mm 17:1 comp. head kit,it makes it hard to pull and hard to start

black widow reeds will work fine with your set up. Internal mods are always link to each other. In an ideal world, for sure it will be better off having the full souped up engine, but step by step wouldn't hurt too but certain combination will give you the most in performance gain. Like headkit, reeds with performance exhaust. I think it is a good time to upgrade to a full circle crank for your engine since you already open up your case.

Gear change is a must to get the bang for the bucks out of the bbk.Cant go wrong with the ADA f/g reed.Black widow failed me in less than 10 mins of ride time.
