What type of shop carries the 6000z? The local auto parts shop doesn't.

Bearing, belt and chain if there is one in your area.

Never heard of them. Are these ball bearings or sealed wheel bearings inside a cassette? Maybe a gokart shop would carry these.

If memory serves me correctly, they are a sealed ball bearing. I believe they sell NTN and INA in either C3 (and a couple in C5) clearances. I also think the INA type is a deeper groove if that is what you are looking for.

Why on earth would anyone use 'ceramic type' bearings in their wheels on these bikes?

What could you possibly gain and why was my previous post about this matter and this topic deleted from this thread.

You rock on and delete this post as well friend, but I know better for sure...

Re: Bearing help

There is no deleted post in this thread, or else i would still see it, so i do not know what to tell you. As for ceramic wheel bearings, they will spin alot better then regular bearings and they do not expand when hot, yadda yadda yadda. Actually, the inside of my bearings do not have a housing, only the part of the bearing facing out. Just think of it as a giannini thing, nothing more.

As for your post, i do not know waht to tell you.

I apologize MMR...

It is likely exactly as you suggested in the PM you sent and I just need to get a better internet connection as my current home connection really does suck in a bad way...

I still think you are crazy for using ceramic bearings in your wheels though. (I swear, If you pull up next to our bike at a track, I am going to yank our plug wire and play like our bike is broke dude... You badly NEED to get another 'china' bike soas it will be 'fair' Kevin...)

If one side is 'shielded', it is a 'Z' bearing. If both sides are shielded it is a 'ZZ' bearing... You seem to have 'Z' type bearings in your bike...

Can I 'borrow' it for a while BTW?

Just as long as you know that i didnt delete your post, nor do i ever delete posts unless they are breaking the rules to an extreme measure. Most of the time i will edit out the cuss word or part talking about street riding.

You wanna borrow my bike or bikes? Got a new one, you will like it, especially when u see it at VIR
