Thanks to your tips i got my biker up and running again . but now when i start my bike up, it'll run and then as soon as i go to give it some throttle, it dies. My guess is the throttle needle clip positioning, if so what should i move it to?
That could be a good place to start, The needle controls everything except Idle, and Wide open throttle Plus on some carbs there is a choke jet too.
Are you sure there is not an air leak?
Is it any different if you open the throttle slowly or crank it open fast?
What about with the rear wheel off the ground, Is that any different?
Have you done a plug chop?
Did you switch to a proper spark plug? It's important to get rid of the stock spark plug and get a proper one.
good luck!
Nick.

My guess is the throttle needle clip, but what do i know. i want to give my bike all i've got before i bring it into my local motorsport shop and tell them to fix it ( they are VERY, VERY, expensive). So everyone, give me all you got and i'll try it
For the air leak, You could spray some carb cleaner around the intake manifold where it contacts the engine to see if the bike rev's more, But I like to let the bike warm up, for lets say 2-3 minutes, Then flip the choke on, and give it a try, If it runs better when hot with the choke on, it's a good sign you might have an air leak.
Plug chop, You can do the simple type, Pull the plug, And look at the White (When you got it) insulator, ON the engine side of the plug, inside, you should see the white insulator with the center electrode coming out of it, White is bad, Black is bad in between is good.
Try the needle first since it's easy, but BE CAREFUL not to loose the little tiny clip, they LOVE to jump off and hide!

problem is, my bike won't idle very long, it can idle for about 12 seconds, revs high then dies. but it also dies when i give it throttle.
Walk before you run, Get it to idle before you worry about what it does when you give it throttle.
It sounds like an air leak, High revs then cutting out would make sense, because it's pulling in pure air through the leak without making it go through the carb to grab fuel.
The other thing that comes to mind is fuel starvation, If the bowl at the bottom of the carb can't stay full with fuel the carb will start to pass pure air, again causing a high rev then a cut-out.
Check the #1 breather hole in your gas cap, #2 the fuel filter to make sure it's not clogged, #3 pull the fuel inlet hose off the carb to check that gas is flowing freely and easily, If those three suspects pass, then signs are pointing to an air leak.
