Blata 2.5 vs Cagllari

which one is faster? I've hear that cag's are a bit faster (low end) compared to the blata 2.5 but the blata 2.5 is faster on the top end? (stock)

but with stage 1, 2, & 3 on the blata 2.5 over all it is faster then a cag with mods...? is this true?

I have a chance to pick up another cag or blata 2.5 for free. although I do have 2 cags already, I was just going to pick up another one for extra parts but if I pick up the blata 2.5 I could use the exhaust and mod it to fit on my cag. give me some input because I haven't had any experience with blata's...

I Dont think the blata 2.5 exhaust pipe will do anything performance wise compared to a cag stock pipe....its the same thing it just has beter welds.....get the blata 2.5 cause there more expensive and you never had one....everyone has cags nut not everyone has 2.5s

good call day-tone-a. yeah I agree with you on everyone having cags. I should pick up the blata 2.5 (might sell it?) since its free

and here's the delima mates.............again I see people comparing the Blata 2.5 to a Cag pb..............

those Blata 2.5 are teeny, tiny bikes guys.............and for the price........sheesh........no can fit in those unless your are 4'2" tall.............

Why would anyone wanna buy a Blata 2.5 unless they are like 11 years old and 4 feet tall.................to each his own I suppose.............

Why..you ask..here we go back to why the hell you would get a china bike instead of a Euro bike for the same price????...oh man you are sooo lost in terms of quality-precision-bla bla bla..the list goes on...

just put CAG wheels tires on it for $30 (direct fit) and you are wayyyyy ahead of the game.

do a stage 3 on a Blata 2.5 versus on a Cag and it's night and day. Blata engine and whole bike is much better any way you look at it.

We have modded both and tested both. No comparison

Well, I didnt sand them, powercoat them, or even spray primer on it, I just sprayed the color in the can on it and let it dry, also the fairings are the same and the frame is too...here is my newest pic with everything...

At 6' and 190, I can still race, ride and drag a knee on the ultra-mini Blata.

For the record, stock for stock, the Blata 2.5 is significantly faster than a Cag.

here are the pics I promised

I took these pictures last night. its dirty, the fairing is cracked with bondo LOL could of been fixed with fiber glass repair (not worried about it) and the throtle cable mount has a huge crack on the plastic. he planned on repainting the fairing (notice the sand job) I'm thinking of getting another fairing for it anyhow. I'm just going to keep this on for now. other problems I've run into since last night are back disk break is bent a little bit, missing one bolt for the fairing, the exhaust was loose, pull start had 1 inch of slack, and the kill switch don't work (sometimes). but hey, its free...

Congratulations on the bike, bro.

If I may, AdvancedMoto is offering close-outs on Blata 2.5 fairings at beyond ridiculously low prices. Stock is limited, so you'd need to act fast.

If I'm not mistaken, Tom still has complete sets of the Benelli Replica available. The rest are miscellaneous front-ends and rear-ends.

Contact Bill at AdvancedMoto@aol.com for exact pricing and tell him Freddie sent you.

If memory serves me correctly, I still have a Benelli replica decal set, specifically made for the 2.5, which retails for $20. If you buy the set from Advanced, send me a PM and I'll send you the decals for free.

Cheers

I also need fairings for my 2.5. If anybody on here knows where I can get some now, I'd appreciate it!
