bogging issues

i today just got my new igniton and the biek fired rigth up so i'm good in that department...but i rode ti for basically one whole tank and now it will start and if i apply throttle...soemtiema little and it will barely move but if i appply a little more than usual it will bog down and shut off

is it my float or what? i recently noticed that fuel is coming out my line at the bottome for overflow but thats cuz my on off valve i foudn out doesnt work anymore

so any help would be appreciated

if fuel on/off switch is not working you might need a new one.. im not sure if that means a whole new carb. sometimes if the needle in the float bowl is stuck, just take off your carb and give it a shake, it can somtimes get stuck open.

Take apart your fuel shut off valve and re-align the seal in there. If it was hard to turn before when you put it back together it will be easier to turn because the seal was never aligned properly. Next bend the forks up that the float pushes on until its stops leaking fuel. But make sure it's not the screw on the bottom of the carb becoming lose. Because that could drip out of the tube also. To see if it's the screw or float pull the tube out of the loop on the carb so theres no way the screw could drip onto the tube and see if it still comes from the overflow tube or the screw on the bottome of the carb. Then go from there.

well i think i am gonna order a new carb anyways but i did take apart my on off valve and messed with it and it seems to be ok now but i cant really take teh carb off cuz whoever owned teh biek before me stripped the throttle cable nut and i cant get that off to get the carb away from teh bike...maybe i'll take teh throttle cable off the grip on teh handle bar and work from there

i planned on gettign a new car anyways so it wont be too big of a deal if i have too...but i hate how thi sthing runs grecrap****

well the stripped nut was only a problem if i had it on teh biek but i got it all fixed now...cleaned it very godo with carb cleaner...and my needle was on setting 4 so i htink it may have been bogging out cuz of too much fuel so i put teh needle on settign 3 to run a little leaner...i'll update tomorrow to let you all know...thanks for teh help
