Smile Boost bottle materials

Hey guy's, I've been do some searching with not much luck, I've been trying to figure out if any material is better for making a boost bottle, or if anyone has done any research..

First would plastic or metal be better (I know gas is harder on plastic for one, but this breakdown takes time) But in terms of heat at that point in the cycle with the air/gas already mixed is it still best to have the fuel mixture as cool as possible entering the cylinder?... If so would a copper or aluminum canister be any cooler and therefore better than a plastic model? or would metal hold heat more?

If anyone has a preference one way or other in terms of material, how does a paintball canister sound? They are available in different sizes so it would be quite similar to modify one into a boost bottle, provided you could match the size to as close as is best?

Also back to plastic/metal comparison, I wonder in terms of surface type if the fuel mixture "settles" more so on one than the other.. In that, does the fuel vapour settle back out of the air any more on one? creating the unmixed fuel (back in liquid state) to settle out and drain back (where it may be swept into the engine and mixed into vapour again, I don't know)....anyone have any other thought's on this?

Sorry I didn't have any specific motor in mind, I just posted in here because it seems to have alot of traffic.... But does anyone know if a motor "xyz" that would benefit from any bottle, benefit more with one made from either material...

they have been proven to be very insignificant on most motors and only help out with some low end power which pocket bikes don't need or use since the low end they would work on is below 5krpm and your stock clutch engages above 3krpm so you would never get to use it really.

Cool metal

for a 40cc (47cc) engine just get a 1" x 3" piece of copper pipe and solder 2 end caps and stick a barb in one end and then another barb in the manifold, connect with hose.. there is ur boost bottle...

i don know much about the boost bottle but for the most part ive seen only positive, and also u can buy stiffer clutch springs to make your clutch engage at a higher RPM
