If you really want to do a good number on your engine, talk to boosted306, our resident engine man. He'll set ya up right ....

Re: Brand new bike, engine seized?

cag is just an umbrella term for all of them. the sellers just give them any random name they can come up with. in aus the SQ ones are great, the lammas group ones are 2nd best and the samurais are garbage.

someone in the us can probably shed some light on which are the good cags and the shoddy cags.

Re: Brand new bike, engine seized?

ohhhh. ok. i get it now.

i have a couple spare heads, i might dremel out the exhaust port on one, see if i can get any power that way. my bike starts still, but takes some effort, with the grinded head.

also, anyone know of a way to tighten a choke? apparently mine and my buddies bike, the choke rattles up, and they'll stall. my brother was riding mine today, since i was working.

Re: Brand new bike, engine seized?

There's a screw holds on the choke plate and lever, located in the mouth of the carb ... tighten it up.

And Giovannis are decent. "Cag" is just a generic term for any Chinese-made minimoto.

it's a giovanni.
The bikes new, call the people you bought it from and get an RMA form!!
I would tell them either send you a New Engine, or a New Bike!! EPR!

Re: Brand new bike, engine seized?

Ah I can't. Guy had some waiver saying no refunds. Oh well. All fixed now with a 47cc head and front pinion. Makes it faster than my friends 49cc

Long as you're up on two wheels again, it's all good.
