Question foot pegs???

My bike sits lower than normal all of my friends bikes. Thats just the way it was built I guess. The problem is my pegs are lower too, and when i take a tight fast turn the peg scrapes and i low-side. i've turned them so they sit as high as possible but with no change. Does anyone have any ideas about what i could do to fix this problem? I was thinking about bending small pices of rebar and welding them on there. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks.

Do you have a Lucky 7 kind of bike? Does it have removable swingarm? If so you can get lift plates for the swingarm that will make the bike sit higher and feel more confident when turning

Look at Dave's motors for KOS pegs. They are made out of Delrin (same as big bike frame sliders) so if you hit one, they actually slide, and you won't lowside. plus- they are cheap. Check out Daves!

I've noticed two types of bikes so far that have a wider spread between the pegs and upper frame members, hence the engine(and consequently, the pegs) sit lower in the chassis. The Lucky 7, of course, and the HF that have the bar in front of the rear tire.

As Motoxryne said, lift plates for the Lucky 7( I have them and they work) and for the other bike you will need the meathooks with the long mounts(great price considering what other pegs are going for).

Best of luck,

Banzai !!!!!!!!!!!!

About the lift plates , do they effect the handling of the bike ?? I assume they only raise the rear . I know on full size bikes that can be bad.

They actually improve handling and stability of these little bikes. I fabricated my own, or if you don't feel up to it just give Nate a call at Nasty Nates performance. He's the original creator of the L7 Lift plates and he can powdercoat them any color you want!

I made my own also, and they made the bike feel more confident, you can push a little more.
