Exclamation Generic 2 Shoe Racing Clutch...

Well let me be one of the first to post up. I just ordered mine today for $65.00. I may regret it later on, however the Cag isn't going to turn into a GRC or ZPF just because I have a Zocchi clutch vs. this one. I always remind myself that this is a true budget racer- I don't want to spent a bunch on it. The goal of my Cag is to get me involved in racing, if the parts I add make it a little more competitve than great, if not I'm still a little wiser technically and better prepared for the real deal bike later on!
By the way- I also got an adjustable steering damper with the clutch and it still only set me back $110.00 total.
REMEMBER THE PURPOSE OF YOUR BIKE...For fun!

I'm with you on your theory on these cags, maybe if I owned a highend italian bike I'd spend more on the clutch also. so what spring did this adj. clutch come with? I'd like to get some blues or reds that the BZM clutch uses. not sure if it would fit but atleast something that kicks in at higher RPM. keep us updated on the adj. clutch.

Thumbs up

Just got in the clutch and the adjustable damper today- both look great.
Note: The quality of the clutch looks good- springs and weights are replacable. I recommend ya'll try one out. I plan on racing this weekend and I'll let everyone know how it performs after that. Leanlower... -Matt

I just got mine in and it looks just like the picture on their web site (see below). Not a great picture, so if you want me to take one and post it, let me know.

i think 7k is good but if you want 5k just put 1.5 springs on the factory clutch!

We have a few of the adjustable clutches at our shop, the springs that come with the bike dosent seem to be of the right tension and will most likely needed to be changed. When im done with the testing ill keep you guys posted!

stock is in the 3-4000 range, the bikes idle at around 2500, 1.5 springs will get you close to 7000rpm but my experience with them is that I am too heavy and they slip way too long before they grab and I kept breaking clutch shoes.
