I got my air cooled Cagami b1 replicas yesterday. The quality and frame looks like the water cooled bikes, much better then even the Lucky 7s. The front brake is single sided but it is HUUGE, it is the size of the rim in diameter and it is cut totally different. The motor is a Cag air cooled motor with a chrome pipe and a V stack air filter from the factory. Someone tell me how to get pictures up here so I will put some up. Of course the other thing is that the bikes are definately bigger than Cags and even my 250lbs is very comfy on it. I will prep a few today and break them in so I can give some driving impressions as well as I will clock them with my radar gun so I can get some real numbers posted.

post pics as soon as possible and let us know test results after a few rides or even after one ride. If it is alot more reliable then the w/c model I want one instead of the other.
Hang on guys, i am still unloading, just took one out of the box to look at it. It will be just a little while before I get time to fire one up. Speed should be about the same as the Cags, same motor, maybe a tad quicker or slower stock since it appears to have the factory big bore, k&N style filter and a slightly larger pipe. It is definately more comfortable to sit on, I wonder what the handling will be like. The front brake is killer, I will try to get a close up picture of that.

Yea i want to see the front brake too. I wonder if they copied the actual b1 brake discs.
Just fired one up, after 3 quick heat cycles and no adjustments 35MPH with a 185lbs rider on it. No adjustments yet and not even broken in. Of course that is on my radar gun and we repeated the result.
Sorry guys, I do not sell on the internet so unless you can make your way down to the store in Michigan you are out of luck. I just wanted to let everyone know what they are like so that you can have some real numbers and know what to expect before you dump your money on one on the internet that is advertised to do 70MPH+++ with a 500lb guy on it. I only had my phone camera today which did not want to cooperate I will post some pics tomorrow. BTW they are 449 in my store on the showroom floor and I usually swing deals anyway especially if you are a racer and not some kid that is going to ride it on the street giving the bikes a bad name. Oh yeah, they definately have the factory big bore kit in them since there are no fins on the side of the transfer ports going toward the exhaust. This 35mph is still faster than other big bore kit bikes that I have clocked the fastest of which went 33mph. The bike has a double chain setup so I have yet to figure out the final gear ratio but it is a 48 tooth rear, a 6 tooth front, and there is the sprocket in between on a jackshaft. The accelaration is really pretty decent if it is geared high. I will put a tachometer on it tomorrow.
this bike seems to have a smaller rear sprocket which explain how it reach 35mph top speed. getting to top speed must took longer than regular cags i assume?
You are so unobservant, if you would look closely the motor is offset so it has a double gear reduction and the rear is a 52 tooth but that would only work in the math if there was not a 27tooth in the middle but there is, so the gear ratio calculator with just counting the rear goes right out the window. I am sure that Genesis will agree with me but the thing has as good or better accelaration than regular cags and it pulls even harder at top. I am 250lbs, no stock Cag no matter what the gearing has ever propelled me to more than 33MPH and even slightly modded ones could not beat that either, the 6/60 gearing that it takes for me to hit 33 on a stock Cag makes the bike not accelarate at all and it takes forever to get there, these things get there in no time at all. Please remember that just because the motors look the same and components interchange they are not all made at the same factory, there are like 12 factories making the motors for 100+ pocket bike factories. I think that this particular big bore pulls better than any other and part of that may have to do with the really nice pipe that is on these bikes in factory trim or the nice air filter helping as well. These bikes are the best Cags in my honest opinion and the nicest thing is that you can race them against other Cags instead of the WC bike that has to race against much better Euro bikes, this bike will be the class leader and is what a Cag should have been from the getgo. For people who don't like the midi stay with regular Cags but these bikes are great and extremely comfortable. Don't knock it until you try it and even then it took me some getting used to this bike but now I love it more and more everyday, I will call this bike a serious competitors only bike since it does take some skill to ride on the track or just the most comfortable and fastest stock Cag for leisurely riders.

Bart your info has been priceless as usual. I'm leaning towards getting one of these A/C models over the watercooled ones and over a used Euro. Two things that people are over looking on these new A/C bikes is 1: the HUGE new pipe, 2: the new reed design, and 3: the new carb/filter combo. These 3 things alone will allow this new cag to out perform any modded previous cag design as those 3 things were the weakest links in their design.
