HOLY SH!t!!! CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW TO STOP MY BIKE FROM LEAKING!!!!!!???

k seriously this is pissing me off. it just started leaking AGAIN. and my parents are like getting pised at me cuz the smell is coming inside the house. the white tab is turned the the LEFT and if i do it too much it purs out the overflow tube thingy, if its like at a 45 degee angle it comes out a ibt. but it never stops. i dont get it. i put a new mix in cuz it was pretty empty and it started to leak again. before it wasnt. i dont get it. can somebody help? and thoroughly explain what to do and how to fix it. and also i noticed when im riding, i have to constantly twist the throttle to get it to stay constant and actually move. either i dont know what im doing which is probably the scneario or my bike is messed.

clean ur card bowl, there might be debris stopping the float needle from shutting the gas off (exactly what happened to me) . If it still leaks, remove ur carb bowl, and bend the float forks down a little so it will shut the gas off sooner before it rises to the overflow hole.

or the float can just be stuck.
try lifting your bike up like 2 inches off the ground and dropping it a few times and see if it stops. and you gotta turn the white knob horizontal for it to stop the gas and vertical for it to flow.

on the bottom of your carb there is the bowl being held on by 2 screws, remove the 2 screws and the bowl will come off with the float inside of it (round plastic thing with the hole in it). Then you will see a silver fork looking thing hanging from the bottom of the carburetor and there is a little metal pin acting as a hinge, holding the fork on the carburetor. Remove the pin and the fork will come off with the float needle hooked to it. Clean the hole where the needle came from very good, then make sure the needle is connected to the fork and put the needle back inside of the newly cleaned hole, and put the pin back inside of the fork. Make sure the float (plastic thing with the hole in it) is inside of the bowl, then screw the bowl back onto the carburetor. And that should solve your problem, but if it still leaks, remove the bowl again and bend the fork arms down slightly, then put the bowl back on and give her a go. It really should stop leaking after trying these things, but if not, then keep bending the fork arms down little by little, and keep making sure that you bowl is clean of debris. Good luck

Or just get another carb, they're cheap enough. Go wild, get an HP carb.

It'll stop the problem. Just be sure to turn BOTH vavles on when you go to ride, though ....... be awfully embarrassing to only turn one on, and have the bike quit on you twenty feet from where you started ....

hei i have a similar problem but i think i fixed it... but i think my bike is wierd...ok when i start it the air filter has to be closed.. so bacicly its chokeing..is on but it dosnt go any where so i open up the air and its gos but then in like 3 seconds it will cut right off so bacily it wants no air!?!? what kinda crap is thatt lol any one got suggestions? oh and by the way i got a 47 cc cagellari..

Jazer, sounds like you're either running to rich (too much gas) or too lean (not enough gas). You adjust the rich/lean mixture by moving the c-clip on your throttle needle up/down a notch. Check your plug - it should be a light brown/tan color. dark is too rich, whiteish is too lean (and very bad!)

Oh yeah, just got another C5 tonight as well. Now I can groove twice as much. That makes 10 and one 49cc dragster(not finished yet), would be 12 but sold 2 47cc Zeimini's to a buddy at work for his kids. They love them.

whats the c clip ?if you can can you post a picture cause theres alot of things i dont wana mess with the wrong thing..i think i might have an idea but i just wana be sure. thanx. and your talking about my spark plug right??

If you follow your throttle cable, it goes into the top cap of the carburetor. If you unscrew that piece, the needle is in that assembly underneath. Take a picture of the assembly once you've pulled it out so you ave a visual reference of how to put it back together.

You won't screw it up - show some faith in yourself.

pla around with with your choke because my x18 would keep dripping gas and then after i broke it in it stopped
