I think I am getting GPS lag at the track..I seem to be getting the end of the straight to fast whereas the GPS signal can't keep up..I tested the watch in a car and it take awhile to catch up to actual speed at times..
I also need to try and wear the watch on my arm instead of putting it in my jacket pocket.
The only way I'm going to get a tru speed reading from this watch is to ride the bikes on a longer straight..
But in my goal to record speed I bought a Radar gun and Pocket Bike Speedo off Ebay.. http://www.pocketbikeplanet.com/atta...1&d=1151042580 |
The speedo sucked..I think I have it set wrong..It gets up to 17mph and then starts reading backwards..17,16-15..blank..
I'm really moving on the bike though..13.5 HP...I think the front wheel is spinning to fast for the speedo..
At the end of the track it read 46 mph once..../17,16,15..Blank 46 mph....then I just didn't bother looking at it anymore...17,16,15 blank..
I'm going to try other settings..and put a second speedo on a Cag...It may work best on a cag, that I'll be lucky to get up to 27mph on..On the Cag it'll take longer to get up to full speed so the speedo may be able to keep up..
My Radar gun read me going 41,43 then 46MPH so the Speedo getting 46 after blanking out seemed right.....
