I have a problem with pocket bike

hey i was wondering if this ever occured to any of you guys .well i bought my first pocket bike form scooter domain.com and i bought the daytona mx3 thats what they suggested i recieved i was very excited. Well anyways first day i take it out it took me 20 minutes to start finally got it started let it warm up rode it for around 15 min than brung it in my house i noticed it was leeking gas right below my carborator they say that its common but this pocket bike was leeking way too much so the next day i tryed starting it up and it just wouldnt start up (brand new bike) checked to see if there was spark and checked alot of other common thing and everything was fine so i came to the conclusion that my carborator had a leek in it or that the flow valve was stuck so now there sending me a new one if there is anyone who had this similar problem post or help me out thanks

,Jesse

You posted this is the wrong area. Oops!

But- yes it does sound like something is preventing your float valve from closing and causing gas to come out of your overflow tube. Take your bowl off, clean it out with carb cleaner, make sure there is no debris caught in the carb anywhere, and try again. Did you clean the gas tank before you fired it up? Maybe some plastic shavings are caught in your carb. Check it all out- then let us know. Good Luck!

Did you rinse out your gas tank BEFORE you rode off into the twilight? Because it could also be the debris from your tank thats clogging the carb somewhere causing overflow..common problem when people dont clean their tanks before running

usually new pocket bikes do take a while to start up at first and your problem is the carb the float valve is not closing so the gas is going straight from tank into carb and out the FLOODLINE that is located below your carb. i had this prob too i would recommend taking the whole carb apart and hitting it w/ alot of carb cleaner

I bought a C1 from scoot. and the **** thing started and ran for a few minutes and on the first ride (less than two bolcks) the clutch shoe broke off, warping the clutch bell in the process. Then the pull start breaks after 10 pulls, and the gas tank leaks. And to top it all off bike was at Idol for a 10-15min. she stalled and has not started since. They would not allow me to return a one day old bike that will not start Has good spark and getting fuel. good compression too. Right now that bike is going to be my parts bike. Putting fuel to the bike voids out the warranty but but there is only one way the bike will start and that means it needs fuel!!!!!! what a catch 22.

I have just shy of 90 bikes that I service THE X series/Daytona's/ and C1's I've spent $3,700.00 w/this company. (roughly) on parts alone within the past 3 months.
And I get Youll have to figure it out. click..........
