To realize the full benefit of the pipe, you'll need to upgrade your carburetor and airfilter also.

actuially more like 3 or 4 mph. i lost 3 mph with the stock air filter and lost 2 mph with an "HP" air filter. so run with out one (just open carb). doesn't get anywhere near as dirty as people think (as long as you don't ride in the rain or thru puddles).

It's like the age old question "Which is better going fast or looking cool?" Well to me going fast IS looking cool.

Jetpro works well on my cag... Definitely a low/mid range increase and a wise investment as well

Jetpro info on your Cag

I have had a Jetpro on my bike for about 2 weeks now and one practice session on it at the track. I use to run the eBay poop pipe. You know, the chrome lookin' pipe that runs below the motor.

I gained a gang load of bottom/mid range power with a slight increase on top. My bike can hang with a RGC RR 4.2 from corner to corner but in the straight its game over for me!

My bike with stock 6/68 gearing topped out at about 35mph. My Schwinn speedo wont read past 34mph so im guessing 35mph is what I was doing. The eBay pipe topped me out at 33mph with the same gearing.

I run a 4 port barrel, ported stock carb, indexed piston, CF reeds, 3mm reed block spacer, adjustable jet, and triple tapered needle. Any filter other then a Uni or K&N will not let your bike breath any more then stock. I prefer to run it off.

Get the Jetpro and dont even think about the IP2 pipe. Youll leave it off the liine and out of corners. "If" a IP2 ever catches up it wouldnt be till your **** near at the end of a 600' - 700' straight away. By this time your entering the turns again. I guess it depends on the track layout as well. I just know that the Jetpro is a all around pipe. Bottom end is what our Cags need and the Jetpro gives it to you.

I also saw a reply about adding a aftermarket carb. The stock is fine IMO. I have a buddy that finally tuned his Walbro correctly after many headaches and it did what??? Keep up with my BONE STOCK carb. Havent ran him since I added the ported stock carb.

I have to disagree about that statement of the IP2 pipe.

The IP2 pipe is good throughout ALL RPM RANGES. I've said it millions of times before. People who buy the IP2 pipe, must REJET. Simple as that. The expansion chamber on the IP2 pipe is so huge, that the low and mid end range of the pipe would suck if there isn't any rejet. You need more fuel to compensate for the added exhaust gases exiting out at a faster rate.

For a bike that has a 4 port (3 port isn't enough) head, FCS crank, bigger carb (either ported stock or even a dellorto or walbro setup), the IP2 pipe will blow away the Jetpro pipe easily.

I have not heard of anyone who has a jetpro pipe, achieve speeds of 40-45 mph. You can get those speeds with the IP2 pipe.

To the guys who have the dellorto carb. You need at least a 75 jet to even hold a decent idle with major mods done to the engine. An 80 jet is really needed for a 4 port and FCS crank mod. Reason why people with the stock carb don't need anything more than maybe a 70 jet, is that they have more fuel adjustability with the needle. Dellorto carbs don't have that added dimension to fuel adjustability. Only thing we have to mess around with is the main jet. To me, that's a lot simpler than messing around with needles AND jets.

A good test I'd like to see, is to measure a heavily modded cag with an IP2 pipe with the same mods done on the jetpro pipe, and see who wins. I'll put my money down on the IP2 pipe.

If you look at guys like Mike3eh, WFO Racing, myself, not sure about what pipe rexracer is running, zero4 (not sure what pipe he's running as well), you'll see us all reaching speeds of 40+mph using the IP2 pipe. And that's with running 6/68, so our low end is pretty **** good.

I believe a jetpro pipe is good for someone who's going to stick to only bolt on goodies, like reeds, carb, intake, and pipe. But for guys that like to do real engine mods, i.e porting, FCS crank, BB kit, the IP2 pipe is needed.

Has any one put on all the hardcore mods like FCS crank, BB kit, 4 port head, etc. With a Jetpro pipe?

I know you have gained alot of knowlage about tunning Cags from hands on and reading up. Every statment made was IMO.

I still hold my ground on the Jetpro when it comes to "on the track". I will give in to a straight shot "top end" duel between the two with equal mods and rider weight.

My max speed is a estimated 35mph. Im sure its actually faster once I find a way to actually read it. GPS and Schwinn are unreliable at this point wich I have both of. You guys are hitting 40mph!!! **** thats insane and with 6/68 gears??? I have no doubt that you guys are all in the 40's. Also im sure all of you have more mods and weigh less then 210lbs.

Anyhow... in closing I still hold my ground on riding torque over speed. Urrric... by the time you catch me, we will be heading into turn one and we start the battle all over again LOL .

I really would like to see 40mph w/o re-gearing and I dont know what else I would have to do. I want to stay with a stock carb and if that holds me back so be it. I also have to order my FC crank sometime soon. Maybe after my trip to SOCAL. I also havent re-jetted my carb but have the SP4L.com jets on the way. I think the adjustable jet I run is a 0.71mm right??? Im thinkin to just remove the adjuster and put the screw back on the float bowl to let it run as rich as possible???

Just sayin...
