I know that I need to break in my motor which I am doing now by not going over 20 miles and not gasing the throttle all the way down. I have a few questions though and any help would be great. My throttle feels a little sluggish, so is there any way for me to tighten it up a little so as soon as i pull down on it then the bike would go? And my last questions have to do with starting the bike up and turning it off. When I start it up I have the choke hatch closed and then I warm the bike for 5 minutes then I open the hatch and ride the bike because when I tried to start the bike with the choke hatch open it wouldnt start. Is that the right way to start the bike? And when I shut the bike down I close the choke hatch and gas it a little so the motor stops then I turn the bike off because I read that its not good to just shut the motor off by turning the key. I would appreciate any help and I dont want to get flamed either cause I have been trying to do the most research I can. Thanks. |
