locking throttle cable in place

I just installed a bbk and del rep 14/14, and i seem to be having problems with a loose throttle. Everything is attached right from the carb to the throttle, but both sides of the metal end casing on the cable seem to be not locked in place. If anyone can tell me how to tighten it into the metal piece on the carburetor and on the handlebar metal screw that would be fantastic. When i push up on the throttle handlebar everything gets out of place and is loose again and its pissing me off lol. Then again the stock throttle is a pos, and will be replaced eventually (engine first priority). After that all I have to wait for my jets to arrive so im not going slower than i did when my bike was stock!! lol

Re: locking throttle cable in place

My suggestion would be to change the standard throttle handle to a alluminium one ASAP. This will save you a lot of hassles.
