Thumbs up

Daytona, he PM`d me. I need a head and piston to send to him. This work is so **** clean. Haven`t seen this quality of work on this site ever. My engine machinist won`t touch these things. He doesn`t have the time to deal with me and my particulars on this stuff when he can be making bread. Understandable. And I really doubt his work would be of this quality since small motors aren`t his thing nor any of his business. I`m also all for modding the stock motor/hardware.

Boosted306, do you have CNC capabilities? If so how bout a billet rod. We`ll work on a case later.

I just replaced the rubber part in the petcock with an o-ring. It will no longer shut off but that doesn't seem to be a problem. You will also want to completely disassemble the carb as the previous rubber gasket probably contaqminated the carb as mine did.

thanks gmenge, it looks like yours leaks from the petcock, mine use to leak from under the petcock, where you the petcock assembly is screwed in with two screws, in between that and the carb, theres a little gasket, thats were Im leaking from....I took the whole carb apart yesterday, then I replaced the gasket for the 5 time...it works for a bit, then I opened it, and rode it, and it worked good, I hope it doesnt leak again....

ok, I installed my ip2 pipe today, just came back, I installed it, it was ok, bog on low end....then I add the adj jet, the jet by itself, without the twisting adjustable part, and it ran like crap, bogging on low, and it wouldnt take off even at 100% with the 1.5 springs....then I installed the adjustable part, and I started up and down the street, I had a screwdriver in my sleeve, and the little twisty thing to spin the adj jet with me,I started the adj jet from very rich, working my way up to lean, first test it was bogging and wouldnt take off, I then turned the jet in a little bit, then after that, I would be able to take off, then mid would stop and it wasnt good, another twist up, It was better, then another twist, I started seeing the top end, then another twist, it died after my rides, then I highered the idle screw, and it was able to idle again, then after that I tried it again, up and down, then it was good low end, mid, but top end had major bogging and it was about to throw me off, but then I kept trying and trying, then I did another twist, I had great low end, good for an ip2 pipe, not as before, but reasonabl, awesome mid, and when it hit the pipe, that thing would, SERIOUSLY scare the **** out of me like its going to blow up....I held WOT for about 3-4 sec, then it would hit on the pipe, and another 2 sec, at top speed, that thing was FAST....I dont have a tach or a speedo, but I can tell it gained a lot of rpms and speed....I will try to find a tach, then I will do the minimoto speed calculator with 6.68 and find out the speed....I cant wait for the fcc and 7 tooth pinion !

well tuning, it was better then I thought, but I had some problems later had some dying in the mid area.....but it took me about an hour or so going up and down the street and about 10 turns....yours might take longer, I kno some people that took them days to tune there ip2, I dont kno if I tuned my 100%, but so far it has no bogging and im happy with it....im amazed...heres my setup:

ZH-1 Head with 2 boost ports
Full Circle Crank
Ip2 pipe Modified
Piston Window Port
2 Exhaust Flanges
Ported and Polished Carb
Ported Intake Manifold
Modified Clutch Bell
0.3-0.7 Dual Stage Reeds
Ported and Matched Exhaust Port
Raised Compression
25 Heavy Chain
7 Tooth Pinion
Adj. Jet
TT Needle

So far all I have is the exhaust port, 2 boost ports, piston window port, ip2 pipe, adj jet.....and im already screaming, boosteds ports are insane, THANKS!

I havent installed it, I dont think I will install it, but maybe....I dont kno about the tapereded needle or triple tapered needle....I havent installed the 7 tooth yet, but the accel now is really good, better then stock and mid and top end is really nice ONLY with stock springs, but when I added 1.4s, seemed like 1.5s, had to WOT to take off, and it was the slowest take off....It would stay in its area for 2-3 seconds, then take off slowly, 1 mph, 2 mph, 3 mph then after 5-6 mph it will start to pull, then after 25, the pipe hits, and im gone....I installed stock, had same top, mid, and low end 100% times better for me....maybe its different for me, but im under 100lbs and im a light rider...
