I have seen them for a while, I had some at my shop that came from the same batch as others but less than 1 out of 20 had a big bore and they were all supposed to be the same, Chinese just use whatever they have on the shelf to produce these things, there is absolutely zero consistency.
BTW, I think your post should be a sticky at the top, I would love it if ALL NEWBIES read this first before asking questions that have been answered relentlessly.
im suprised its not a sticky yet either...they sticky the reviews but dont sticky the important facts for newbies to stop messing up these forums...

Thats weird, I never knew they had stock bbks in the half fairings, I thought it was only lucky 7, seems like all the bikes sometimes get lucky, not just the lucky 7...
do you normal full fairing bikes get stock bbks sometimes too? not the lucky 7...
John
Ill give u credit for actually posting something helpful I hate to burst ur bubble however because most second gen. hf's come with big bore motors. I bought mine for 170.00 with a bbk on it stock. There should also be a mention about how the forks on the first generation hf's (although are not as strong as thenewer cags) are better suited for cornering with better wheel placement.
all the extra info is good, I had a 3-4 month break between selling the first gen to get the second, so i forgot how the feeling was on the first gen, I have a sec gen and i kno cause the frame is powder coated and welded really good, and the chain doesnt drag on the place right behind the chain guard....they made a space, its a really nice cag,and your not bursting my bubble, your just adding some info for newbies...

Also, I didnt but big bore kit as an upgrade cause I dont like them, I dont kno why you should sepdn $65 when you just get a HEAD KIT! the head kit will BLOW the big bore motor out of the water...

Well The really first generation was the same as the 3rd, thats why I didnt say anything about the third generation, the first gen is the crappy metal frame, the second, is the black with cheese holes, and the third is the same old one, but its shiny and clean metal and it has no problems like the first with overheating.....everyone say to use the search button, but no one does, thats why im doing this thread...

Thank you for clearing that up I am looking to buy a c1 .
I am stepping up from a lucky 7 bike which i think is the best choice
of the cag's to the c1
dam that a good thread
Hi, Ive got some questions regarding this topic about improving performance...
- when talking about the Head Kit he mentioned that something like "the head kit has to be over 13:1, around 14:1-15:1" and on the photo he posted of the head kit was one from badazztoys, that kit matches what he said? Also what really means so i can figure out better that thing about 14:1-15:1
-He also speaks about coolhead when talking about that Head kit, and taking a look at that web I see there are 2 coolheads, one which is 40 mm as the Head kit and another one which is 44 mm, both can fit that same head kit 40mm?
-Also about carbs, is there a huge difference between stock carb and that carb which is on the web dellorto replica 14/14? Is it already ported?
- Which reeds are better, fiber carbon or fiber glass ones?? Is much better to have 4 stage than those stock with 2 performance reeds?
It would be hard to tune ur motor once this components are installed? I dont know if I u understand my question, I mean if some other more technical work should be done after installing all this... thx in advance, and sorry about my english :/
lol, its ok, the cool head is the dome, the main part of the head kit, its a different head kit from the other head kit I posted, there two different kits, the 40mm is for the zh-1,SY, squiggly line motor, 44mm is for the big bore motor......the only reason the other headkit is more is because it comes with the head kit AND a chopped head isntead of yours....All you need is, take off the four screws and then take off the cylinder and cut it right under the spark plug, then after that add the head gasket, and then the dome, then after that add the four long screws and screw it down, and then your done, but the head should be cut exactly and should be the exact correct length.....
