one of a kind mods?

I've been doing alot of digging around here the last few days and have seen some impressive motor mods, understandably they all seem to be centered around stock parts and/or parts specifically design for these motors, I was wondering if anyone has tried any "off the wall" custom mods...

being an obsessive tinkerer I was looking at my cylinder the other day wondering what could be done to get a little more out of it that hasnt already been done before when I got the idea to see if a PW50 head would maybe fit, theres a PW50 buried in the corner of my garage and I had to kind of stand on my head to get the tape down there and measure it but it looks like the head/cyinder bolt spacing is the exact same as my PB motors, the PW50 also has a 40mm bore, and much bigger cooling fins, anyone ever tried one, or maybe a head/parts off something similiar?

I'd have to tear it apart to know(maybe the next rebuild) but I got wondering too if maybe the cylinder itself would be adapable with some work... I know they use the clinder/head off the old YT60 TriZinger's as kind of a bigbore for the PW50's, if its also adaptabe maybe it would be an ultimate bigbore for a PB, there could be alot of performance possibilities that could be done to that head/cylinder if it worked...

I've been working on dirtbike and streetbike's all my life and I like to thing I have the knowledge to do it, I also have access to a full machine shop, it would require alot of work and probably wouldnt be much better than anything else around anyway, if it even worked at all... it could very well be just a big waste of time and money, but the fun would be in trying I guess...
bulding up these motors with the parts that are designed for them is awesome, and fun, but I guess I'm alot into the unusual mods, ones that people just come up with from their own ideas, adapt, and make work... something that rips, and no one else has...

any "one of a kind mods" around?

The " One of a kind mod" that i can think of is a headkit, seriously, stop with the little stuff like adj jet, rocket key, air filter, exhaust flange, just get a head kit for $70, install it, raise your compression and get your rpms from 9.5K rpms to 12.5K rpms....right now with .8mm squish in my head kit" coolhead from badazztoyz 40mm" im getting 12440, also before I was getting 10720, now i gained like 1.7K and if I want, i bet I can break 13K if I lower the squish to .6-.7mm the bike is wonderful, im in the process in making the video, its wonderful....
