after all the great feedback and comments about trying to stop it from leaking and get it not to die when i ride it, ive come to a conclusion that all has failed because i cannot get the bike to start now. the **** button or white knob is vertical, clutch is up, i havegas in there, i primed the engine a few times, pulled likr 5 times nothing, i adjusted the idle screw a bunch oif times... nothing.. so i dont know what to say. it just wont start now. i even tried with the clutch down which is what i usually do and i found out your not suppoed to and it still doesnt work. soo.. yup

Well, started it with the clutch down, huh? Guess your bike tried taking off without you, then, since when the clutch is engaged, the rear wheel starts spinning. The clutch is that thing right behind the front gear that makes the bike move forward - when it's "on", it's engaged, making the bike move. When it's "off", the bike doesn't move. Simple, eh? Maybe you're talking about the CHOKE, which is that little grey lever on the side of the carburetor ... but I guess you haven't been paying much attention to anything we've said lately .....
Go clean your carburetor out. Here's a tutorial on how to do it: Cleaning stock carb tutorial
If you're not willing to pick up a couple of wrenches after THREE threads, then sorry, we can't help you.
Buy a new spark plug and put it in. Your bike will probably start after that. And don't start any new threads until your bike is running. And if you don't know a choke from a clutch, get a new hobby.
Sounds like Josh needs to pick up some books, or do some searching to learn some more about motors. Most of the problems your having is common and the answers could be found using the search tool. I know that not everyone is mechanically inclined but these motors are so basic that with a little reading and some trial and error you should be able to fix your problems on your own. I understand that your new to this and don't really know what your doing, which is why you should sit down and start studying. The more you know the easier it is to identify the problem your having and fix it. Hope this helps.
P.S. Sounds to me like you probably messed with the petcock (the white knob) too much and aren't getting enough gas. The rubber piece inside it goes to s**t after a few turns. Use the search tool and look up the petcock mod. That should fix that problem, then as mentioned before get a new plug, put the choke up and try it from there.
It won't help, dirtyp. This is the third thread he's started, and still has the same problem. We can give him all the information on how to fix his bike, even how to tear it completely down to the frame for a full rebuild, and he simply won't do anything except complain that his bike isn't working, that his arm hurts from pulling the pullstart all the time, that he's screwed the idle screw in and out and in and out .... I honestly think he's mechanically illiterate.
"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him swim unless you shove him in...."
its not that, its i dont know what im doing, i wont be able to put it back together. im not illiterate, its just i dont want to take it apart, then dont know what to do afterwards and mess around with it. the tutorial is very informative, but i dont know if it will help, or it will mess it up. my friend is gonna swing by later today hopefuly and maybe he can help me out and fix it. im going to try to mess around and hopefully fix it up, but just to make sure, i have to take the frame out and all the outer screws? to get to the carb? i have time today to work on it, so hopefully all goes well
*sighs* Do you have a digital camera? It helps a LOT if you take pictures of the way everything is BEFORE you start working on it, and DURING the process of working on it. That way you have a visual reference of whhere things are supposed to go, even if you forget.
To get to the carb, you have to have the bike up on its stand, and remove the lower part of the fairing. Take off the little black box attached to the carburetor with two Phillips screws - that's your air cleaner. Drain the gas tank, then take off the fuel line that runs into the petcock. Unscrew the top cap of the carburetor - that's the piece where the throttle cable goes into - and VERY CAREFULLY slide the whole assembly out of the top of the carburetor. (TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS ASSEMBLY - IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU RE-ASSEMBLE IT THIS WAY!) Now grab an Allen wrench, and loosen the two bolts inside the carburetor that hold it onto the reed block and the engine. Slide it carefully out towards the rear wheel, then down through the bottom of the frame.

Have u tried replacing the ignition coil. if your not getting a spark. well if its makeing a little bit of noise when u try to start it its ur ig, coil.
well i finally got a chance to take some time and look at it. i took the side fram off, but the bottom part i cant get in there to et it off, and its all cracking. cheap plastic. i took the top off where the tank is, which i later learned is a pain to put back on and i cant get the spark plug out. it just wont turn. and i cant get the entire frame off to get to the carb/spark plug. so its kindd of messed a bit. is there a special way to get it off, i cant get my hand in there to get the pieces off,, i have the right size tools and stuff but i cant do it.
