Please explain to me what the bottom squish is I thought the squish setting went ontop of the head gaping the spark plug?

If anyone cares...5 port head kit specs...

Exhaust open 100 degrees ATDC- Duration 165 degrees

Boosts open 125 degrees ATDC- Duration 117 degrees
Transfers open 125 degrees ATDC- Duration 117 derees
Blow Down Time 25 degrees

Boost ports open little after transfers stock but mine are angle so they open at same time..
