Unhappy R.I.P. here lies tecumseh gokart...

i seized the engine on my kart... and i figured out its an oil pan leaker...
i wont turn over AT ALL... so i am selling it on CR for 50$....
obituary:
name: carty
age: 10
hp:3-3.5
we are gathered here to mourn a loss of our dear friend, carty....during his last hours he got a carb cleaning and a poor paintjob...he had 2 flat tires, broken steering wheel, bent steering arm,oil pan leak, rusty frame and motor..
he died a horrible death...a seized motor...
we will all miss his poor emissions...

amazing grace! how sweet...the sound...

and now we will bury him...pay him your last respects....
lol
but man i am gonna miss this kart....

R.I.P. Carty

man that looks stylish with its whole 3 wheels i guess thats weight reduction though. lol. how does that motor mount? i really want to build a cart like that. actually exactly like that. would it be possible to put a pocket bike motor on it? or a dirt bike??? maybe in the 250cc variety?

Re: R.I.P. here lies tecumseh gokart...

is it chain driven with a live axle? because i could just mount a plate and drill it out to fit the motor. i have a crf 450 that i got for free and that baby will fly on the 500LB bike. what does that cart weigh? 30lb? that would be fun lol

Re: R.I.P. here lies tecumseh gokart...

Carty would of made a fun limo project to make for the old lady to ride along with just to show her just how much you love her............You paint it pink on her side and black on your side and make it look sweet and innocent with a killer-looking daisy airbrushed on for a mascot;-stick on a sick motor and watch her paint it brown the first time you take her for a ride.........lol

I went out to check on some karts I had from awhile back and I was disturbed when I saw the condition of one of them...........I guess old vans dont make good storage sheds after all.............lol.As if I didnt have enough projects to do.

RIP Carty..........Hopefully you will be resurrected again someday.......................lol

Re: R.I.P. here lies tecumseh gokart...

ive only had it started and i aked the kid who i got it from and he said it went like 20mph....
keep in mind this was with crapped up dirty carb and dirty crappy oil, (his dad put a restictor on the gas petal because he has a 8 year old brother) and i ported my carb to a slight venturi also...
