Removing Reed Restrictor???

has anyone removed the reed restrictor (grey part of reed block) that has a fiberglass or carbon fiber reed????

bad idea! you'll fracture the reeds as they will pivot on the clamp rather than gradually bending along the curve of they limiter.

hmm what the hell, there is another thread on here saying the exact opposite.. that to hit max rpm you need to remove the "duckbill" lookin thing..
