Yo MO!
The problem that I see with adding another boost port to mm64's head, is that his boost port is right down the middle of the head. Boosted's is evenly spaced. I wouldn't recommend putting another boost port unless they were evenly spaced. I think boosted would be more qualified to answer your question. I would think adding another boost port to mm64's head would cause more turbulence of fuel and air flow, which could hinder performance but hey, I dont know much
Did Scott even port the exhaust port on your head? I remember with mine, he didn't do it. Check it out. If not, go ahead and port it but don't go too big.
MM64 was the first one that started doing these boost ports. Myself and Mike were thinking of adding two boost ports to stock heads, but didn't know the advantages of doing two. We felt one was enough. Boosted has opened a lot of eyes, and I'm going to try doing two boost ports to my stock SY head, and also do some porting of the exhaust. Plus that piston window was new to me. I heard PBU was doing that to their pistons for a while now, but I've never seen it done before boosted. I'm going to try it as well.
I've ported the transfers before, but as boosted said, there's not much room and also, if you do port the transfers, you want to keep the shape. Also, I've thought about even making the transfers smaller to increase velocity of fuel and air flow during the combustion process but at the same time, keeping the shape of the ports. There were a lot of things I was going to try, but didn't have a lot of time. Now that i have a little bit of extra time, I may try out my theories
Let me know if you need any help bro.
