speedo/tach

does any one know where I can find a cheap speedometer and a tachometer. I know you get what you pay for but pretty much looking for both of them to work but not spend 60+ each for them you know?

any help would be great

heres a cheap tach

schwinn wireless spedometer from walmart for 15 dollars. Buy an earth magnet and glue it to the rim and align it with the wireless reader...pretty accurate and updates every 1/2 second or so.
For tachometer check ebay, someone may have a link, but theres one for 15 or 20 bucks that reads up to 16,999 RPM, correct me if im wrong please! Not sure if tachometer is reliable but from what i hear its good. but the speedometer listed above is a definite cheap good investment, just have to get your hands dirty a little bit with the glue and earth magnet.

You might do a search for EMU tachs. Their cheap and work pretty good.

are you sure its EMU or EMN?

Hey juanitoboy I thought it looked kinda funny when I typed it. So after reading your post thanks to you I had to do some research of my own and were both wrong it's a ENM tach model PT 141. The tread I came across it said they were like $15.00 but I've seen them go as high as $30.00. Sorry about any confusion.

Do NOT buy that tach. It updates every half second, but it averages over 6 seconds, so it will never be correct, and it will always be 6 seconds behind.

I know this, because I have two of them right here in my hand and I bought them after seeing this post.

Total waste of money!
