how did you do it???? what was the size of your drill bit???? i tried to do the same but the bit was too big i guess and made a hole trough the carb (bottom end where the floats are) so i tried to patch it up with epoxy resin but it didn't work and the carb was always flooded with gas. so i ordered 2 other carb one that i will leave stock and one that i'll modify but i would need help or informations
thanks!

The first thing you need is a bench drill. If you dont have access to one of these then you wont be able to do it.If you do then you need a 9/16th (14mm)drill bit.Completely dissmantle the carby by pulling the float bowl and removing the float arm and the fuel delivery jet.Pay attention on how you dismantled everything and dont lose any pieces.Remove the idle screw and the main jet. Then drill straight through.Use some sort of cutting fluid whilst drilling so as not to score the carby.Once you have done this with a large countersink bit drill(see attached pic) out the filter side of the carby so that it tapers out. Then with the dremmel and a polishing bit polish down where you have drilled.I used a piece of 1/2inch pipe with fine sandpaper wrapped around it in the bench drill on a low speed setting and polished down the throat of the carby where I drilled. The smoother mirror finish you can get the better it will be.Make sure you always wear safety glasses and gloves when using this type of machinery. If you are not able to do this have a machine shop do it for you.Dont try this with a normal hand drill as you wont be able to get it straight.Once you have done this mod you will have to upsize you jet to allow more fuel with the more air that you have created

The glasses you can wear but never wear gloves when using a drill press. If the gloves material gets caught up in the bit it can rip your fingers right out of their sockets.

Backwoodz is right you shouldn't wear gloves when using a bench drill.
