My original purchase was going to be a HF for $300. Then I looked around a bit. My purchase ended up being an L7, filter/stack and ada reed shipped for $230. Quite an upgrade for $70 less. I went to the local Autozone a couple of days ago to look at the HF's, I was not very impressed. They should be a lot cheaper. Shipped for $160 would be fair.

One other thing to mention is that the L7 is a little larger than the HF. That extra inch of leg room can really go a long way if you need it.

There are a lot of small dealers selling these bikes, but their prices just can't compete with the big eBayers who buy them in 1,000 lots. I am realistic about the level of customer service I will get. All I really expect is a new bike dumped on my driveway.

noone sells em for 180 though do they? I mean the RSA type?

I got mine for 230 from vortz a while back and was gonna get another for parts when I saw they could be had for 180-190 then I ran out of money and didnt get one and figured they would keep dropping cuz when I got mine for 230 shipped it was one of the cheapest he had sold to date and 3 that day went for 260+. then later they were averaging 200 dropping to 170/1880 periodically if you wwatched enough at the right times.

I've heard from a few people (and seen one personally) of the RSA bikes that are under $200 shipped off flea bay, were the ones that got wet or rained on and the frames, bolts and other stuff was water damaged and rusted.

mines actually held up good and when I had the adj main/.3's and a stack filter I beat 3 other styles of bikes, they were bone stock though but still if mine was crap to begin with then it shouldnt have been quicker and faster than others cuz what I did doesnt do too much.

but ihe had no water damage on any of my stuff when I got it.

have needed to replace rear brake cable though and rear rim cuz a bolt fell out and the other 2 gave way on the sprocket side, JB weld did the trick for a few hours though.

me exhaust never broke or anything like that either. pegs suck but nobody i know has a good set of pegs.

I got mine from Vortzgames off ebay for $140 back in June. Nothing wrong with mine and I haven't had anything break yet. That's funny about the water damage thing b/c the when I pulled it out of the smashed up box the only thing that was wrong was the rear brake caliper bolts had some saltwater corrosion on them. Nothing that a little sandpaper didn't fix. You should have seen me scream at the 60yo FedEx guy when he threw the box with my bike in it from the rear of his truck into the street! I made him stand there while I opened it to make sure nothing was broken. Oh yeah the foot pegs were sticking out both sides of the box too! Jackasses!

I got my lucky 7 from some crazy guy at a flea market for 250 about 7 months ago and the thing is great. The common problems happened right away ( the pipe cracked and broke, and then cracked some more, and the pegs broke from the crappy aluminum brackets) but other than that its been great. Just messing around I did a wheely and flipped the thing on the rear fender and dragged it down the street a ways before i got my balance back and all that happened was some missing paint, no cracks or even chips! the paint sceme is pretty cool too. Its a nice kawasaki green with white checkers on the fairing and black and white graphics on the tank /seat body piece. The engine ran strong right off the start and with a stack and new filter it seems to run better. The frame is great and looks like it can take alot. even the rims are painted nicely!

If you can get one of these bikes at a decent price I recommend it!

I relize that this is a very old thread and that most of the people that posted on this thread are now gone, but I just want to say that I got my Cag (not a L7, unfortunately, but I think it might possibly have the big-bore motor) from vortzgames (now vortz_inc) and haven't had anywhere NEAR the trouble other people have said they've had with their Cags, but I don't think it has as much to do with the seller as how well they take care of the bike. I got mine for $227 and a few cents back about a year and month ago in August. From what I can tell I luckily bought my Cag from the right person (I bought it when I knew absolutely nothing about pocketbikes except that the one I got was in a nice color (metallic blue), went 40 mph (yeah right, goes about 37 or 38 with my Fatty pipe (that's just an estimate), and that vortzgames had pretty good feedback (like 20,000+). I wish I'd gotten a L7, but it's ok. Unforunatly, vortz_inc doesn't sell pocketbike anymore after they didn't sell anything for about a month or so over the winter holidays (which blueR1cag was talking about above), now all they sell are the crappy chrome "performance" pipe (just chromed stock pipes) UFO-style air-filters with velocity stacks (the UFO filter w/ velocity stack I have on my Cag I got from them for a mere $9 so I could have something to help free up the airflow for my Fatty, and had no problems with it fitting or problems with shipping or payment). vortz_inc is still a great seller, and I wish they still sold the EXTREMELY cheap Cags that were actually good quality, but they don't, but you can still buy his other products without worry. Now, the only reliable people who sell them sell them for about $100+/- with as much as $190 shipping (liars, they rip you off by about $160 dollars on the shipping, they ought to be ashamed, they're so stuck up with making a profit but looking cheap).

From who? If I could get a pocketbike for $100 I'd love to buy it. Now that I have a race bike, I want to make a stunt bike, if my mom will let me. She wants me to save for a car, I want a motorcycle, she says no, not because she's afraid of me crashing or something, but because of the other idiots on the road that don't know how to drive. I think she might possibly let me get a motorcycle to ride around town, well, just to the high school on less traveled road until I get older. Plus, with the gas prices (which will do nothing but rise more, this time next year, we'll think $3.00 is cheap, and I'll put money on it), I'd save a lot of money with a motorcycle and you can get the bike I want (Yamaha TW200) in near mint condition while a car at that price would be an old junker.

Sorry, I got a little off topic there, but I'd get at 78 tooth rear sprocket, 5 tooth pinion (it'll go slow as anything with the gearing, but still go faster than most of my friends' Go-Peds), a JetPro pipe, or which ever pipe has the most low-end (BTW, if anyone knows, do the JetPro Hi-Revs have less low-end than the regular JetPro?), 3rd bearing, and I'd like to have a Zocchi clutch, but they're WAY more than I could afford. Maybe if you're interested in selling for a cheap price...

Although sometimes a male, Crybaby is usually a female, and often a close ally of Innocence Abused. When teased or attacked Crybaby will pitch a loud public temper tantrum, holding her breath and kicking her feet. If that defense fails she will run to Nanny for comfort.
