wet or dry nitrous kit?

well already having a ip2, walbro WYK carb, and boost ported bbk i want more. So i started to look at the nitrous kits. whats the difference between dry and wet kits? are they safe? im really siked about getting 1 i heard you can get up to like 25 hp thats exactly what i need lol ( very dangerous)

does any1 no where to get 1 for cheap?
recommed dry or wet kit?

its worthless..with the money you spend you can make the bike faster and not just for a couple seconds. wet kit means it injects fuel with the nitrous and dry means it just injects nitrous and its up to you to compensate and get more fuel in to the cylinder

i still wouldnt mind having 1, i dont care if its only for a few seconds. but i got some pms and they are very expensive. i no this is way off topic but what do you need to have to change the dome compresson to stock of like 9:1 into like 10-15:1 ???

You can use a NOS Sneaky Pete setup but you'll need a small 12 v battery and a fuel pump setup to provide the extra fuel. I've seen this done at 10HP with no problems (probably just luck) but shooting a 25 hp shot into one of these engines can get quite destructive.

if you want around 25+ HP on your bike you can get a brand new KT 100 racing kart engine from yamaha for $699... it's small enough to fit in the frame with minimal mods and has more (and I mean WAY more) than enough power for any sane person to want on something this small.... not to mention you'll never have to worry about the bottle running empty.

P.S. While both ideas will work, I don't recommend either one of them.

i looked at ythe sneaky pete system way to expensive so i just might go with a cheaper dry nitrous kit what do you think? does it run off a battery?

ive heard of folks running a 9.6 volt battery to operate the system , apprently the solenoids can work down that low

im working on an idea useing airbrake componets from firetrucks , biggest problem has been locateing something to take the place of the treddle valve and finding older stuff that didnt use electrics , only problem is the system has a decent chance of leakage since there will be no solenoids or electricity let alone that accurate a way to devliver it over a 12v setup.....

perhaps wireing 2 9.6v rc car battery packs in series with an inline resistor to back the voltage down from 19.2 volts to 12v (would a headlamp resistor from a early 70s chrysler work here?) ....just thinking out loud again ....cuz running a small 12v motorcycle battery would make one hell of a weight penalty and the nos system would only bring you back to the speed you saw before doing this....

Hmmm... for $40 + shipping you get...

1 Co2 bicycle tire inflator ... $12
5' of 1/4" teflon hose and some hardware store fittings.... $5
10 Whipped creamer N20 bottles... about 25 cents per bottle...

Total value... about $20

Sounds like a bargain to me...

all it is is c02. n20 is basically extra oxygen in the combustion chamber so in a way its the same thing but nitrous is alot better

i have a head cap that will be around 50 bux so you can chop the top off of your head and install it and basically have a headstrong kit for much less..you can adjust the compression too..maybe someone needs to be my guinea pig

I'm telling you, that's all they are... bicycle tire inflators... these guys are taking your money and laughing at you the whole time when you buy their kit.

Look here... www *** tri-zone *** com/catalog/TireAccess *** html

now scroll down the page and you'll see your $40 "Nitrous Sprayer" for $13... I'm sure you'll notice just how familiar the pic is.

now all you need is the teflon hose and the adapters from home depot (hint... take your tire inflator in with you and someone will help you find just the adapters you need)...

The N2O cartridges they use come out of whipped cream dispensers and cost about a quarter each (and that's ebay's prices)... the only difference here is they are filled with N2O instead of CO2.

As for the specs and reviews... I seriously doubt anyone is foolish enough to buy this kit knowing what it is. I can tell you this... those cartridges only hold 12 grams of N2O... which is less than 1/2 ounce... can you guess how long 1/2 ounce of liquid N2O lasts?

Take your jug to a machine shop and have them machine .015–.020 in from the bottom. Then you can use base gaskets to set the compression.
