lol... i won this bike at a fair! its actually pretty fun! it should show up in my pic... but i know its a 47cc and made in china.... so what is it? im new to mini's but i used to be a mechanic and i also ride a 06 yamaha Raptor! so i kinda have a little idea what i messing with. and also does anyone think its possible to put a transmission on this! i see that i can get one on ebay and it should bolt right up to were the pinion is! i think i would have to make some sort of bracket for support and make the chain smaller! but is this kind of bike worth spend a few hundred dollars or is it not worth my time!
thanx for your help!

you set the pic as your profile pic . set it as your avator its called a cag/caglari alot of people take the farings off from around the motor it helps the motor stay cool . let me know if you decide to get rid of the plastic i need some for the bike in my vator
cool thanks man... im still not sure how too set it as my avitar??? lol... any ideas if any has ever put a transmission on one of these? i think it should make it faster! lol.... i guess im getting alittle bored! i have a seadoo jet boat and a 94 camaro with a big block that got 900hp! but summer time is over and i won this at the fair! i think it may be something i might like! i was going to give it to my 6yr nephew but i didnt know these were that fast! hahaha.... let me know what you guys think? i already ordered a air filter for it and im going to weld up a different exhaust! i guess im just messing around with the idea! i am on the SEADOOFORUM.COM alot and it seems to me you guys have a really nice forum as well! im sure i can learn alot for you all! thanks again......

Yeh, it would be a Wild Ride! I am putting a wheelie bar on my 2 Eng. Cag. Drag Bike, using 2 skate board wheels! Last night I was thinking.....
about a 2 Eng., 3 wheeler, something like yours!!
Your Bike has a straight axle right? You put the 2 motors side by side, &
Run 2 chain to the rear axle!! My engs. will be inline offset 1", one chain runs forward to a half-shaft, the front eng. chain runs back! I will a thrid
clutch on the shaft w/ a bigger chain to the rear wheel! EPR!
Only way to put a trans on it would be a full engine swap, and even then you're going to need to do some custom bracketing and welding to make the frame strong enough to handle it. To be fair, by the time you get finished doing all the modding for the new engine, PLUS the new engine and trans, you could've bought a new bike that already had the 4-speed ...
That's not to say what you have there isn't nice, though. With time, patience, and careful consideration of mods, you can make these little suckers scream.
You cant put a trans on it, but you can buy upgrade parts to make it go faster, look around on the forum theres tons, if u look at my thread "what are some good mods" i think or something like that, i got some good answers, Sounds like a 47 or 49cc, If you want alot of speed, go for a 110cc pocket bike.
And yeah sorry about them, they just get carried away. If youve got questions im not a expert but im learning alot, and ill reply asap, then send me a PM.
EPR tends to get pretty excited about his bike that he's building, but sometimes he goes a little overboard on other people's threads. He's a good dude ... Benefield usually isn't that bad, though ...
Cags can be almost endlessly modified, from easy things like swapping out all the bolts for higher-grade stainless to full-blown racing machines with enough power to pull a freight train. Big bore kits, full circle cranks, race exhausts and carburetors, hydraulic brakes ....... these are only a few of the many things people have done to their bikes. (Since I weld now and then, I've also made some custom one-off parts for my own bike.)
Pretty much, the only limits are:
-How much is enough (modding)?
-How much is enough (dollar-wise)?
-What are your limits (as in nerve, speed, bravery, etc.)?
Once you answer those questions, you'll know when you've done enough to the bike, or have picked up another to start on.
i dont know why my pic isnt showing up??? sorry, i have it set as my profile pic!
They only allow 24.4kbs on your profile pic, which is out of the Stone Ages!! I have a 1988 Atrari Computer that can do better than That!!
Go to Windows Paint, & resize the Photos ( to Bad Photos ), lol.
Dudes,
You can go to any of my threads & say what ever you want!! If you will spend time looking here for info, you can find almost anything about pockets bikes!! I like the ones that say" what kind of bike do I have with
out a Photo, lol Ask me a Question, if I can't answer it, I will say so!! the
senior members here Know Alot!! Keep On Truckin, EPR!
I believe you could bolt up a scooter trans, but your fairing would probably get in the way!! Cut of the bottom of the fairing, & make a Rat
Bike!! It is only for looks, & it makes your engine run Hotter. The one I am
talking about has a belt & pully that grows bigger as your RPMs increase,
which increases your top speed, but I don't know how much power you
can run thru it!! the gear on this comes out of the trans case on the inside, and I do not Know if you can line up the pinnion to the rear gear!
I know cause I looked at them when I first started this 2 eng Drag Bike!
but could'nt figure out how to link them together and go to the rear gear!
I do not believe everything I hear here, but if 2 or 3 people say Yeah, I
will consider!! I have 4 bikes all different, & I have been riding motorcycles
for 45 years, & I am still alive!!! I hope you have success, dude!
I guess it would be possible to put a x2 cvt type tranny in your pocket bike but its a lot more moving parts(drag) and ultimately going to slow down the bike down...i know this because my x2 got faster after I ditched the cvt and made it a straight single gear...

Your probably right about that, I will have about 14hp, w/ 2 engs. & w/ a 18.5" rear tire & higher gearing I would probably burn the Belts, & it is
going to Run Out of Steam before I reach the end of the 1/4 mile!!

I like the part about speed & bravery, spyguy, here is one for you!!
" There's Old Racers & Bold Racers, but there's No OLD, BOLD Racers" !
Actually, there are .... look at some of the guys running NASCAR.
2-Stroke, an X-2 CVT will bolt straight up to a Cag 47cc engine. I know because I did a LOT of research on here and through the parts dealers, and that's the setup I'm running on my Re-Cycle bike (second link in my signature). I agree with it slowing the bike down some, but at the same time, it also provides plenty of pulling power.
