Full-fairing Cagllari/Daytona, with the bottom portion of the fairing removed for the "streetfighter" look. The dual-tip exhaust is very restrictive, you'll want to dump that and go for a single tube. Nice ride, see if you can talk him down a little on it.

Good luck!

Re: what bike is this?

thanks spy guy. I wasnt sure if it was a full fairing cag or not. We are going to talk him down, might have to run the dual exhaust a bit before we get an extra pipe, but this will be a good start as long as it runs well. Thanks!

Re: what bike is this?

you know, i had one of these about 4 years ago, i am hoping they are a little more fleshed out by now. Do you know if they are built any better these days? I loved the thing, but it could be a pain sometimes. Then again, i was living in Colorado at a much higher altitude, and alot of my problems were air intake issues, and I now live in California, so that should not be the problem

Re: what bike is this?

He might still have the original pipe, so you could put that back on it. The 'Y' split is what restricts the flow.

The bikes are built pretty good lately - I have both a newer and older Cag (both HF ... well, one's a NF ), and true, they are both PITA's, but fun to work on. Plus, with all the mods you can do on them, it'll keep you busy for a very long time. Lucky 7's are THE top-of-the-line of the Cagllari series bikes, but you have to know where to look to get them.

I got the air intake problem solved - go check the link in my sig ...

Recommendation for riding: find a big empty parking lot and set up some cones, or see if you have a local go-kart track that will let you ride there. The forum generally frowns upon talk of illegal street riding, so be careful out there ......
