wore out my front brake pads... now what?

I did a search on this sight for suggestions first. Didn't find the info I needed. What do I do now that my L7 front pads are worn out? I can't find replacement pads anywhere on the internet. Only thing I can find is a whole front caliper for $24.95 shipped. Seems rediculous that I have to buy a whole caliper when all I need is pads.

help? thanks in advance.

Your front brakes are not worn out...There is a black allen head screw on the brake caliper on the outside...There is a silver nut around it also...Just screw the black screw in clockwise, just a quarter turn does a lot...Hope this helps, I would post a pic of where the screw is but I am at work and all my pics are saved at home...

i don't think I have that adjustment exactly like you are describing... I do however have a knurled knob that seems to center the caliper (not exactly sure that's what it does).

I looked at the pads, they look REALLY thin, perhaps only 1/16" thick.

here's a pic of my caliper.

The knurled knob is what I am describing...Its takes a small allen wrench...

That isnt the knurled part but that is where the allen is to adjust the pads. The knurled part is above it to the left and used to center the brake assembly on the rotor.

thanks to everyone for your help yesterday.... I found the allen wrench adjustment thingy that you guys were talking about and am now able to get the very last bit out of the pads I have which are VERY thin. Thanks too for the link to new pads.
