lol when they are very thin too far and you can damage your bell but when they are worn thin and are close to no pad left

Re: 2008/2007 dm replica reviews anyone?

k well i had plenty pad left and i mean plenty! must of been there wasnt enough adhesive there or?!? is it possible im not sure if you guys notice but oxidization on the pads?

cuz here in iowa things rust and corrode really bad! its where most of the corn in the world grows! so its like a greenhouse effect non stop which is one of the reasons small jets are needed here! but anyway everytime i went to ride my cag after leaving it in the garage i would notice small green crystal like formations on the clutch pads i figured it was oxidation and just rode it and it would take a minute to burn that off then the clutch would start running like normal. i wasnt going to take the housing off every time i ride to sand those green things down so i just rode could that be why it broke a pad in half? i know this sounds weird lol

If you are looking for a project bike, why don't you go with a Euro? I have a real Polini 910 Carena for sale in the classifieds for less than you would wind up paying for a D1 roller.

To hell with a D1 roller I would like to get my hands on a DM roller. I already have a race preped 50cc polini motor brand new in the box just waiting. Like I need another bike. How many bikes is to many? That's the question?

yeah you can, when your garage and kitchen cupboards are full. One more if you don't need to take baths.

Re: 2008/2007 dm replica reviews anyone?

Im glad this thread is staying up top I have more to add since the bike had been cold siezed . This bike has been left with me for repair and to amazement there is more stuff thats absolutely unbelievable . the crank looks rough in it like a cast cag crank. not smooth like the banshee crank I will take some pics while its apart . It also had the MLS gasket and the cases have had much water in them . PICS coming soon . Im glad I didnt buy this bike . It would need a true polini in it for me to be half way happy .

Re: 2008/2007 dm replica reviews anyone?

So lets say it did have a true polini motor in it? would the bike still be worth the time and hassle? what do you think of the other componets like Frame, Rims, Triple Tree? etc.... and please do send some pics!! i have notice there isn't much info or i should say current info on this bike? I would buy a banshee for the heck of it but it sounds like parts are hard to find any more and prices are insane? could be rumors? and i like the looks of DM! but i did just buy a 45.6bbk for a C1 for $43 shipped!!!! keep posting!!!

Standardracer, I've got a good used BZM crank I can let your buddy have cheap if he wants to upgrade. Let me know if he is interested.

I will ask him but its highly unlikely . His other bike is down too Blata WR pump bearings locked up and spun the belt, gear, pump shaft and pump guts and bearings out of it . so I know he has dumped some cashola into that one too but I will ask him
