Question B-1 Foot Pegs

Are the foot pegs the same on the B-1 as on a FF cag? Just wondering if I could put the aluminum racing pegs on I think its a 1/2" diameter posts.
47cc.com carries them and so do ebay sellers.

they come w/ the soft rubber cover pegs like the HF cags. Most race track won't allow metal pegs to be used. It's not the post set up liek the cags with a clamp. These havea nut on teh backside holding it on.

and they have provisions to slide back and forth for the most comfortable foot position

also - they feel like they have a metal rod only half way through the peg, and the rubber cover flexes much more than the regular cags

I'm going to give my honest report of the bike, The bike is really fast and torquey and starts on first pull every time but 2 things have happened 1 the kill switch screw stripped when I pushed on it too hard which has never happened to me before, and earilier I was really going crazy on it around turns and I stopped a few times and the bike stopped moving and bogged I took it home and the clutch adhesive broke completley off. I just took the bike out a minute ago after installing the extra clutch I slightly loosened it to engage at around I am guessing 4-5000 rpm. I started it on flat ground and it really seemed to run excellent but when I came back up my driveway it didnt go up it bogged a bit when I tried so it really surprises me that this bike cant make it up a driveway at about 5000 rpm when 25cc gopeds can, am i getting something wrong it doesnt make sense and the bike comes stock with a really low gearing what causing it to bog it should make it up a hill even with straight drive right?

Your NOT Suppose to play with your CLUTCH...Leave it stock...People that try to play with it always FRY IT....8K is when it takes off and You shouldn't mess with it...Just leave it like that cause thats were the powerband is...Probably didnt make it up the drive way cause 5K is about 3-5 K away from the powerband...Its not an ordinary cag...I think thats what the problem is for the second clutch, for the first clutch, you just got unlucky....

No I adjusted mine and its working great I adjusted it again now it goes up the driveway fine and engages just when I want it to even with my previous adjustment the powerband is still there but maybe its because I only weigh 110 lol. I wish I could get it on tape but I dont have cam maybe when I go to the track in prarie city someone might capture it on tape.

Yeah I weigh 110 pounds lol and I am 5.6 so the bike fits me perfect I am 16 yeah I know I'm a midget . Getting the bike prepped and started is really easy this bike seams really reliable the engine starts on the first pull everytime. When you get it use a ratio cup and mix it with 92 octane gas or better a 25:1 ratio with synthetic oil I use castrol oil. Then add about 6-7 caps of watter wetter with distilled water but I used the antifreeze that came with the bike it seemed to work ok but I can tell it would work better with water wetter or engine ice but it did not boil or leak.

I weigh about 92 lbs and Im 5'6''...LOL, Im 14 , YEH im skinny...Hope it fits me perfect too...25:1 sounds rich, should I go 30:1 ??or 35:1....I hear people use 4 caps of water wetter, 6-7 isnt that a lot...and How do you kno how much distilled water you need for 6-7 caps or whatever to mix right...thanks

ur not suppose to ahve the clutch SO low, thre is no power at 5k no to mention it will wear ur clutch out faster.

If you are goin to a track, U can not use antifreeze. It's like oil once it one the track.

I'm running 40:1 mix for my breakin. Let it idled on teh stand 5 minutes, shut it off for 5 minutes, start again, repeat 5 times.

For the oil ratio I used 25:1 which is what the manual said and my local shop which we are good friends but this is only for breakin. I dont understand how the clutch will wear down by setting the clutch to engage at less rpms when the clutch engages at 8500 rpm thats when the clutch starts to wear down because the engine is revving so high and it cant hold it so it slips I dont know mine seems to be good so far I will keep you guys updated today because I will be riding more with my new clutch adjustments.

there is not power down at 5k, so the shoes won't be fully seated which will glaze the clutch. Once the clutch is glazed and continued to abused, the material will harden roasting the entire pad. Sanding the pads down will not do anything cuz the mateail has allready been harden and baked. Also constant, engaging and disengaging the clutch will cause premature wear and could also glaze the pads.
