Seems to me in the second vid its realy slow off the line. Seems like youd blow a top-end with the way its revving up way high and the clutch isnt even engadged till like 9K. If i were u id get better springs...

Yeah it takes a while for it to engage and i was being really gentle with it so dont think thats how fast it goes. Im trying to get my friend to bring up his FF bike so we can race them together. The complete review is now up here.. http://badazztoyz.com/v-web/bulletin...topic.php?t=22

mods I will remove this if you want

Sonik, u da man! mate!.............here's a suggestion for ya if you wanna make a little extra cash.

When tearing down the b1 replica, document it via a cam corder. document as much of the tear down and rebuild as you can. just simply talk thru the tear down as if as though you were talkin' to a crowd. then, get yourself someone who can burn all that film onto a DVD, put a title and copyright stamp on it and sell the "B1 Replica teardown" for say, $10 or $15 bucks a dvd. I'd buy one from ya for sure.

think about that idea. it'll be quick way to document your work, you'll have it for ever..........AND.......you can sell all that hard labor you invested so much in..............

I've always wondered why no one has come up with an idea to dvd or document a "simple maintenance dvd" on cags and pocketbikes...........they'd make so much on it.........

think about it, it's a one time deal that keeps selling the same copy over and over..........how do you think Blockbuster made so much. I used to work for their design department in Florida many moons ago..........

Overall the bike is completely redesigned and I didnt have alot of issues with bolts stripping etc like the other pocket bikes. There are alot of rubber grommets on the bike which will definately help so it wont rattle and parts wont get broken.
After taking off some of the plastic it appears the cooling system has a allen head screw for bleeding out air which was suppose to be a problem on these bikes but looks like they fixed it.

Coolant system-
When you first get the bike you need to add antifreeze to it and i used a 50/50 ratio, adding some to the bottle then slowly pulling the starter to pump it through the system. When its full and you have 25:1 gas in it start it up and let it idle for a couple of minutes. You will see lots of air bubbles come up and you will need to add more coolant.

Getting started-
The choke on the bike once engaged will stay in that position until its warmed up, there is a little stop on there that makes it that way. When you first go ride the bike just slowly go up to redline then back down and keep varying the rpms for a couple minutes then let it cool completely down. Check for any coolant leaks (mine had a hole in a hose but i fixed it no problem). My bike has had no leaks anywhere other than a hole in a hose. The clutch will not engage on the bike until about 8k so when you first go you will be about half-3/4 throttle before it engages.

Maintenance-
After riding the bike with two tank fulls of 25:1 and letting it cool off go over all the bolts and be sure they are tightened and check your brakes as well. You will also want to check your chain to make sure its in spec.

Speed-
It almost feels like the bike is broken, that is until the clutch engages and the bike just takes off. The powerband on the bike is pretty good in the midrange and just keeps pulling all the way up. I am going to adjust my clutch so it kicks in sooner though.

Handling-
The pegs dont hit like on the older bikes and the bike is alot narrower than the regular FF bikes.

Brakes-
The front brakes are very good so be careful (dual discs)

Overall-I think for the money this bike is a good investment. I am going to replace some of the bolts with higher grade ones but they really dont need it. This isnt your typical pocketbike that is made with poor quality, this bike is actually put together right. If you have a certain pic you would like to see feel free to pm me and i will send you the pic.
