Banshee engine in Mini Quad

Hi,

Has anyone tried fitting a Banshee engine in a mini quad? There is plenty of room for the motor and the radiator, its just the problem of the different engine mounts which I see being a snag.
I plan to beef up the welds on the stock frame and have pretty much everything else sorted.

Thanks for any advice

Rich

mini quad

Trust me, there is NO room on these to put a larger motor, we are in the process of putting a a/c C1 motor in, and we have rebuilt half the frame so far. The pipe is what causes the biggest issue's in fitment, but now the frame almost looks like a DM frame.

Pictures to come soon

Heard of it done with ZPF engines with minimal hassle, so Im suprised the C1 engine causes that many problems. Will be interested to see the photos.

But have you actually seen one?? I have yet to actually see the mod done, thats why we are doing it. We are about 2/3 of the way done, and Like I said, it was extremely difficult, but also we are very touchy when it comes to looks, we want it too look good to.

Hopefully we can put the pics up in the next couple of days.

yep seen and ridden against one with a 16hp tuned zpf motor fitted.
not pretty but stupidly fast.absolutely left my banshee for dead in a straight line but was a bit too much of a handfull around the bends.

Re: Banshee engine in Mini Quad

check out pocket bikes unlimited.i believe they have pictures on thier website of what youre talking about and oh yeah it also has a wet nitrous kit on it.cost alot of money but theyre trick and done right.they sell motors also stock or full race.i have two banshees that they built from top to bottom and they kick serious but.anything less than what im telling you is junk and not proven or simply not affordable.
