Mostly just chassis stuff. Sprocket, tires, clutch, throttle, etc...
I going to rebuild the engine in a few months... It's plenty fast for me now...

Good stuff man, I've got a GRC replica paid for and on the way.
I plan on changing the rear sprocket and clutch springs before I even put gas in it. I may very well replace the crank and entire clutch though, if I hear that it helps to level out the notoriously peaky power band.
Please go further into detail with what you've done to your bike and how it has affected performance.
I like it. Did you brush the frame? Great idea. How hard is that? Is that the original red color? I am looking at getting a red one and haven't seen a picture before. Nice.
hey goat i got word on friday that the bikes hit US soil and are in washington state right now being x-rayed! looks like an eta of around feb 15TH at warehouse! goat i am with you on the upgrades! on my personal one i was thinking about replacing crank also but i am going to wait to hear from dcminimoto first as i think he has completed his hp upgrades on the banshee and is going to be testing soon!
I did brush the frame to knock down the polish. I prefer matte surfaces.
I also painted the bike red (it was red originally, but I scratched up the seat fairing when I reinforced it with fiberglass cloth). Don't sand too much on the frame! If you get too aggressive, you'll sand through to a layer that looks like copper. I don't know metals, so I don't know what the deal is with that.
I need to repaint. I picked the worst weather to spray (cold, wet and humid)
Upgrades so far:
New PMT's
Heavy Zoochi clutch springs
Brake Levers
Grips
Domino Quick Throttle
7T Pinion
68T AMS Sprocket (Need to buy a spacer. The sprocket bolts just barely touch the frame)
I had to replace some of the hose clamps.
No changes to the engine yet. Rebuild to come.
Brake rotor upgrades planned.
Steering damper planned.
I also bought some Zoochi "Racing" clutch shoes to rebuild the clutch. However, they are *not* a drop-in replacement the Zoochi pads are taller than the stock pads and the assembled clutch is over 80mm. It won't fit! I haven't decided what to do. Either grind down the shoe material, grind down the foot of the shoe itself, or (my favorite) buy a Zoochi backing plate and have it machined to fit the crank.

where did you get the 7tooth front pinion at? what make is the pinion also? as for the clutch i have heard the newer bikes have a better clutch material and the factory is only saying that the springs should be replaced as per rider weight! if you have zocchi shoes on factory clutch just get a bigger drum to make room for the bigger clutch! i hear 80mm works great with the zocchi shoes!

I bought the pinon, sprocket, clutch parts and tires from Tom at DCminimoto. Tom has the Polini pinions made, I believe. The stock drum is 80mm. The assembled clutch with Zoochi shoes is *over* 80mm. The backing plate was designed with the shorter Chinese shoes in mind...

Did the zoochi springs fit right up, or did ya have to buy the zoochi rebuild kit too?? what brake levers and grips did ya go with?? I've got the wavy breaks DC sells they make a big differance. After a few laps at the end of the straight my stock ones were gettin a bit goowy. I like how ya cut your fairing...hope ya dont mind im gona copy ya.

The springs fit perfectly. I bought the mount kit also, but it assumes that you are using the Zoochi plate, so the locking clips to fasten the shoe onto the post didn't fit. I just used the stock c-clips (before I had to take the Zoochi shoes off). I used Tektro levers and big, cushy foam grips. I didn't cut the fairings, I just took the lowers off.
Now, I have to get the clutch dialed in. I started at 25mm and it didn't grab at all. It's slipping like crazy at 28mm. So i'll go to 30mm and try again...
thanks for the info machv looks like i will have to call tom@DC for the pinion! i bought the spring kit from polini and it looks like they should fit in the clutch no problem! has anyone tried the polini crank yet?

Did the BZM shoes fit with no problems? The throttle came from tryalsshop . com. The levers I picked up at a local bike shop...
For the clutch, you are going the wrong way. Tighten (shorten) the springs to get the clutch to engage sooner, slacken (lengthen) them to get it to engage later.
16mm is a good point to start from thats measured from the flat of the top of the spring coil down to where the spring enters the shoe.
