Angry C1 not moving...

My Buddies C1 is having a big problem. The motor runs but for some reason the the rear wheel doesnt want to turn.I can see through the clutch housing that the clutch is opening up but for some reason it doesnt want to turn the pinion.Checked the housing and changed the pads 3x already. We even took the housing and put it on my other buddies C1 and works great. We adjusted the cluth to engage earlier and late and still the same problem.Any1 have any ideas....thanks!!!

well the being said, keep in mind you r clutch does not kick in to like 6-8 1000 rpm. so you need to realy floor it to get it to respond. But i still had simler problem with my springs being to loose.

Weve tried to leave it stock and adjust it to were it will engage late .The wheel will turn sometimes when its on the stand but definitely not when theres load on it.Even at full throttle.Any other suggestions...

have you torn off the clutch drum and seen if theres a clutch shoe or something broken off in there?

Yup...we kept on replacing the clutch to see if it was the culprit but no.We even swapped the clutch housing onto my other buddies bike to see if it was the problem, but it wasnt either. But i did talk to my buddy last nite and he got one of his coworkers to redo some of the welds on the pipe since we notice it was leaking. He said it runs a little sluggish on the bottom end and flutters at top.But at least its moving now.

nice! tell him to upgrade his reeds or reed cage. Stock cage has no limiters but with fiberglass reeds you dont need them
