The pump slips the belt because it can't move enough water. The biggest problem is the two water passages in the cylinder. They are very poorly drilled and most are plugged at the top.We clean out the passage and smooth both ends to allow better flow.

The steering radius is almost the same as the half fairing Cagllari's.The bike is slightly longer and therfore the circle is slightly bigger. My son races the RVL with Cagllari med. compound slicks and it is perfectly stable in slow speed corners.

Yeah I've heard the blata origami belts have teeth on it, so it doesnt slip.

The bad thing is, getting inside to change the belt, from what I've heard, is a b*tch to install.

do you have pictures of what needs to be drilled out?

and what about operation temperature, I'm installing thermometer on the bike, and I need to know what temp is good.

the real B1 engages at 8000-8500 RPM with clutch springs adjusted to 21.00mm - according to their onwers manual on their site!

The belt is behind the hardest to remove flywheel I have ever seen. The Chinese use a form of epoxy as locktite and it is a bear to break it loose the first time.I have pulled the threads right out of the flywheel once and had to drill them out and insert metric Helicoils.

Thanks for the good writeups about this bike. The more info, the better.

Yeah, exactly. That sucks...hopefully next versions of this bike will have a better belt, although have you had problems with belt slippage?

Once the water passages are cleaned up,it doesn't slip much at all.Don't run antifreeze and flush the motor and rad thoroughly before adding about 14 oz. of water and four capfuls of Redline Water wetter. If you fill the jug to the top it will puke everywhere when it gets hot.Cold you should just see about 1/8 " in the bottom of the jug.I am putting a GPT tach/temp gauge on and will give some RPM and temps in a couple days

Regular car stuff.
I ask my exporter not to included the coolant they provide just in case Canada Customs start freaking out about dangerous goods and stuff. So I told him to keep it.
