Re: d1 rep

Doesn't look anything special to me IMO. Look how close the exhaust is to the rad in that one pic, GOOD LORD!

Crazy frame too, I like the body style but for $900 bones I'll be keeping my C2.

Re: d1 rep

Listen from a guy who owns plenty of Euro's, that DM is absolutely a perfect looking rep as is the pipe a rep of a BZM which is over $300. The engine casings look amazing, I need a review.

Re: d1 rep

That really does look close to the real deal. Nice to see that they spent the extra time and money to put a nice motor in it. I can't wait to see detailed reports on this one.

Funny you mention the throttle...they are checking into perhaps using the gp3 throttle. No mention of the brake levers though. Will see what they say.

Re: d1 rep

As a DM owner, I must say, the rep looks really close to the real thing. I'm actually impressed. The Z1 looked horrible compared to a real ZPF, as did the C1 compared to a real Origami.

Part of the high price is they are being air shipped one at a time. Nobody is bringing in container loads yet....

Re: d1 rep

So what happened to the EPA regulations prohibiting 2t motorcycles from being imported into the US? Is that an attemp to get around that regulation? I am glad to see them being imported, but until [Staff Edit] can bring in a container, it's still a bit pricey for me.

Re: d1 rep

i have reason to believe this is the polini 40cc 3 port motor

1.) water pump, stock polini water pump is rear wheel driven, only other two 50cc motors are the banshee and the z1

banshee is a 50cc polini replica, z1 is a bzm replica

now unless china slapped on the banshee head (which could be a possibility), i dont think the rear wheel driven water pump would be sufficient for cooling the 50cc motor

2.)carb...14/14 sha carb on a 50cc?, seems weird to me.

to me, every part on the bike reminds me of a 911 replica motor (water pump, carb, rad)

i dont know guys, im interested as to what you think. especially you banshee and 911 owners.

* note the pic * 14mm carb

Pic is prior to the decision to go with the 50cc and 19mm carb as standard option.
