I am a little more bitter than the norm I suppose, but then again they did rip off my "Meathook" footpeg design. I would especially like to thank the a$$hole that sent my pegs to China for them to be ripped off, you know who you are. |
yeah i have to agree with you demon.... what really hurt this sport is people knocking off stuff instead of just coming up with ideas of their own. That and giving bad advice and saying parts will do something they wont....most of the chinese bikes that could have been used as starter bikes are sitting in the want ads or peoples garages barely working.
instead of someone sending the DM to be copied (along with your footpegs) they could have designed a bike and just had them make it, it would have dodged all this fighting about a euro copy, could have been an entry level bike and everyone would have been happy...but too many people were in this to make a quick buck and THATS what hurt the industry, knocking stuff off saying this cheezy head kit works,or you need to do this to the motor blah blah blah, all those bad pieces of advice have parked more bikes in garages than anything.... more creativity put towards new products and original bikes would have kept the sport thriving much more than it is today.
