okay so just got new gp3-rr (reverse), so when i first start this bike, it will rund for like 2 minutes then out of no where, it suddenly DIES, wont start for like the next 30 mins or so.>> what the heck is going on ? does anyone know?? is there something i have to adjust, i know theres some clutch prob, and so but i think its not because of that.> any help would be nice!
Well there's 2 problems that come to my mind. 1 is to check the vent hole in the top of the fuel cap and make sure it's not plugged up. The other is the coil so after it dies right away check the spark it should be a nice blue color. Helll you might even check the flywheel to coil gap. Reset it using a business card. 1 more just came to me check that the fuel bowl is filling up with fuel it should be about a 1/8" from the top.
okay.. so when the coils dies.. what do u mean by check the spark if its blues? and since its a a reverse which side is the flywheel located and how do i reset it with a card..and the fuel bowl, ill check that
We were discussing which bike you are going to buy earlier this evening and you already got yourself a GP3-R? Anyway just found that in my IE favorite. May help you down the road.
ahaha no i already had this bike, its the w/c version. thats why i was thinking about getting the a/c version of this bike, but yeah i already check out the link and still the problem that i have isnt listed in there

Oh I see, the link is just some info for you on your bike. About your problem, I am sure it is not the clutch. For sure is either your bike is not getting fuel or the bike is not getting good sparks.
i think thats the problem too. and then one time i start it the wheel started spinning at high revs!! i mean i want even touching the throttle. and then it... die...
Yes with that little bit more info I'm with samspeed it does sound like a airleak or not enough fuel.
To check for spark remove the sparkplug and put the boot back on it and lay it against the frame or motor and while watching the sparkplug pull the pull start and see what color the spark is.
To check for a air leak start the bike up and spray some carb cleaner around the intake area but don't spray any into the airfilter. If the rev's change when spraying the carb cleaner than you found a airleak.

Alright, i going to try that. Ill let you guys know after... Btw. What does an air leak effect has
You should know this! it means adjusting the size of the jet inside the carb to let more or less fuel to pass through. Bigger jet=more fuel, smaller jet=less fuel

the jets are located inside the float bowl of the carb. you never play with your carb since you have the bike?
Well i have the 19 mm carb that came with it. Can u tell me more about this carb like where the idle is , what air air filter will fit it and where to get it. And more about the float bowl
