Polini rep gas tanks?

Do they sell parts for the Poliini rep or do you have replace with an actual Poliini part? I'm looking for a gas tank for the Poliini rep? Any ideas?

Call Ricky at midsouthminimoto.
I picked up and installed mine today.
It is sweet....no more worry about the paint peeling and the cap coming off.

You're welcome.
Have you ordered it yet?
I believe they are in high demand and I'm not sure how many they have left.
I had been waiting for mine for weeks.
Ricky also told me they will have the polini race pipes in stock in about 2 1/2 weeks.
These are also in demand so I asked him to hold me one when they arrive.

Good luck

I talk to Ricky yesterday- He said he doesn't have poliini rep tanks.

He is correct....they don't sell polini REP tanks.
Call him back and ask for a fuel tank for a polini 911 dream bike tank.
They are around 54.00.

My bad- i guess my first post was not clear. I have a polini 911 gp/r already with a porous plastic tank, which does not take to painting very well. I was looking for a rep tank which is regular plastic (i think) which i could switch out and paint.

My bike is black and the tank I bought is black...so no need to paint it.
It looks fine as is.
I believe the only 2 colors for the 911 is blk and white.
So if your bike is either of these two colors you will be fine.
I stripped the replica tank and repainted it and it came out horrible.

I think your right- blk or wht. I think I'll give up on the idea of finding and refitting a normal plastic tank and work with keep my bike mainly black.

Ya, I got a buddy that tried to repaint his tank, his was red, and it just looked like crap. We have been emptying our tanks after we ride and it seems to help a little but not completely.

Yeah- that looks good caferacer. I'll post pics of my bike when I'm done polishing the frame and painting.
