Question removing clutch on chinese water cooled bike

Hi,
Im having problems removing the whole clutch assembly of my chinese water cooled bike. Does anyone know an easy way to remove the centre nut on the clutch? as mine is very tight and it doesnt seem it wants to come loose

Exclamation

remove the pull starter side too and use the 14 nut to hold the whole assembly, then the clutch nut will come off sooner than the flywheel nut, i believe they are left and right threaded..

too much work there Arjan

looking at teh clutch, behind it you will see "ribs" from teh case. I always use the top vertical one. Hold a flathead screw driver between the clutch plate (black steel part) and the rib, DO not pry on the clutch shoe cuz that cheap crap might break. This will stop the clutch from rotating when ur loosing the nut off. When putting the nut back on, you will have to use the other side of the rib.

The clone clutch should be lose enought to pull off w/ some channel lock plyers. If u can't, find someone w/ a bling 3 shoe clutch puller.

they might have some type of china locktite on them, so the first time getting them off might suck. Use some better sockets!

hi guys , i had to take the bike to the mechanic to loosen this **** nut off. Guess what? even he couldnt do it and he even rounded of the nut so the only way i could get it off was to angle grind the nut off. It was a difficult task to do and i end up damaging the thread. I am going to try to put a die nut on there and try to clean up the thread and hopefully this will work.
If it doesnt work im not sure what to do, would i have to pull apart the whole motor to get this bolt out and replace it with another? anyone have any good ideas? I think ive really ******* this one up LOL

I am sorry to say this my friend, but that isn't a bolt it's the end of the crank.

Replacing the crank isnt to much of a job if you are a bit handy..

The biggest problem is how to find a crank at all, dont know if the B1 Blatacrank fits.

Regarding these stroker cranks, it is said that the cranks have 3mm longer stroke, but the C1.s has very different squish.s, what will happen if a stock C1 with a squish of 1.0mm is equipped with the stroker crank?

Crash boom bang?

I'm not sure how it works, but I would assume that the 3mm added stroke is downwards, not up?

If it's downward it's also upward. Just add some base gaskets, and make sure you have the clearance on the bottom. Assuming it bolts right in....

Yeah, sorry I wasn't thinking properly. If it was only downwards the mounting points would have to be lower.

Well finally i have got the bike running again. I didnt have to replace the crank at all i simply took the motor out and put a die nut at the end of the crank and tapped a new thread. I thought it wasnt going to work at first cause i did a bit of damage to it but i finally got a new thread happening. Then i bought a new high tensile nut so im never going to have problems taking this nut off again.
I cant believe i went through all this trouble to replace a **** clutch LOL, i guess i have to be extra carefull next time LOL.
