which replica?

looking to move up to a more powerful bike. daytona was great to learn and get a feel on. c1's seem to have most problems sorted out now. i'v got the funds for a banshee, though. i know that the c1 is lighter, but have heard mixed opinions on it's handling. How do you think the new polini 911 copy will fair against them. the c1 is my choice now, since i'll have some extra $ to upgrade carb, reeds, etc... looking for some first hand input from anyone and everyone. thanks guys

I have a review up on my site comparing the two.
c1 is a bit taller and lighter and 7.5hp out of the box with 9.5 when you upgrade carb
Banshee is shorter, heavier but has higher quality bolts etc and has 10hp out of the box

I'll more than likely go for the c1 and upgrade the carb. I think i will like the extra height. What should I look for to make sure it is the latest revision (generation) besides extra holes in the clutch drum. thanks

Usually gray frame is second gen but ive seen black framed models have the 6 holes in the drum. I have a brand new batch heading my way now and i have no idea if anything is improved, what the frame is like or anything.

I'd go for the SHO if i were you, unless you're over 6ft tall then the B1 rep will be more comfortable.

SHO has far fewer problems out of the box and I personally feel it has a lot more potential than the B1 rep. The sho handles SO much better than the B1 replica, I would suggest trying them both out before investing your hard earned cash

i'm only 5'10" so the banshee would be better there. I've heard it is heavier, though. Anybody know how much each one weighs?

cool. i saw the hydra (c1) is 55 lbs. i'm gonna go with it more than likely. my fiancee said she would ride this one, cause its not so short...hehehe that alone is worth it to me . the seat pad looks crummy, though. anyone know where to find a nice padded one, or do I have to make my own again?
