Question SHA 16 on Blata rep engine

Can anyone tell me what intake manifold I need to use if I`m replacing the stock rep carb(rep Sha 14/14) with a Dell Sha 16/16? It does not use the same manifold does it? That would not make sense to me.Help please?

the 16/16 carb will fit on the 14 intake.

Re: SHA 16 on Blata rep engine

thanks bikebandit.I thought it would but I wanted a second opinion. The stock manifold is 15mm id so I have to decide just to leave it or open it up to 16mm for max performance(if its even worthwhile).

Any opinions guys,Does an increase in 1mm do all that much??

every little bit helps theres no point using the bigger carb if your using an equally small manifold. it takes all of 2 minutes to do anyway.

i think youll like the performance. i just went from a 14 rep to a 16 on my cag and it gave it a big kick up the arse once it was jetted right
