I did dome more wrenchin on the bike last night...mission was to get the squish down. As I said before, when I put a piece of 2mm solder in the head, there was no contact so the squish was more then 2mm. I removed the head, removed the HG that was 1.4mm thick, installed the head w/o a HG nor RTV to see where the impact would be....there was NONE. Tightened down the head, put a piece of solder and the squish was 1.70mm....still too much. Goal is .35mm to .50mm for the squish. So if I added the new squish + old HG the stock squish was 3.1mm

can u say compression loss

Anyways, I noticed the piston was a dome shape unlike the real B1 has a flat top piston. Could this be another power robber...iduno. On the C1 head cap, there is a small groove in the dome that is recessed in a bit, I measure this to be 1.35mm. Here is a pic of the real B1 head cap, I believe their recess part is less prolly .5mm-.75mm jus from eye ballin it. So that is another key tolerance point. My theory is that lil recessed part is what sets the B1 squish after the HG is added.
